MIAMI BEACH NEEDS TO FIRE OFFICER PHILIPPE ARCHER

  • This Miami Dade officer was rightfully fired for hitting a woman.

  • This Miami Beach Officer- Detective Philippe Archer-  is still on the force although he punched and kicked a woman with her hands cuffed behind her back. Archer was suspended for a month and allowed to serve the suspension a few days at time so he could keep working most of every month.

     Any difference other than time?

THE RESULTS OF BEING ARRESTED BY DET ARCHER
The woman above was ARRESTED FOR...(wait for it....you got it) BATTERY ON A POLICE OFFICER.

FYI: Kathy Rundle's office saw fit to NOT prosecute Archer
for either the battery or the false police reports he filed when he arrested the woman AND the man who came to her rescue.

FYI- This was NOT the first time Detective Archer struck a citizen whose hands were cuffed behind their back.

    See:
MAYEUL MOULIN AND GUY MOULINE v. CITY OF MIAMI BEACH  So. Dist. Of Florida case number  12-23390 - Mayeul Moulin was 13 years old at the time Archer attacked him. Then Archer attacked his father Guy Mouline who went to defend his son.
Prior to  Archer striking  the woman with her hands cuffed behind her back,  he beat up (and of course then arrested) a good Samaritan who  tried to come to her rescue. So what we have is a Miami Beach Police Officer who beats up people so badly that other citizens routinely come to their aid because the violence is so shockingly bad.                                                 AND HE IS STILL WORKING AS A POLICE OFFICER.                                                                                                     And see:
DUQUESNE v.  CITY OF MIAMI BEACH  So. Dist of Florida Case Number  12-20575 BEFORE JUDGE HUCK in which Archer  struck Andres Duquesne.

So as one of our alert readers who sent us this information has asked, why is the City of Miami Beach still employing an Officer who regularly beats up the citizens of Miami Beach?
Three brutal incidents. One caught on video. One silent State Attorney, and the City of Miami Beach who we guess just raises taxes on their businesses to pay for this officer's brutality. It will only be a matter of time before something worse happens and someone else suffers at the hands of this thug. Because that is what he is. A coward, a bully, and a thug who only hits women when their hands are safely cuffed behind their back.

It is disgusting how he savagely hit that woman and he needs to be fired and prosecuted. However, there is a line on what a civilian can and cannot do to the police. That woman was completely out of line and, had she not acted that way, would have never been the subject of such treatment. If anybody would have acted that way they would have been on the receiving end of a beatdown. It is time for ALL people to assume responsibility for their actions.

Her mouth is not a weapon. His fist was.

Abolish the police, specially the Brown Shirts. Decriminalize all offenses except first degree murder. Make all other offenses civil violations. Enact the Citizen Militia Act, granting citizens the authority to administer swift justice, at their discretion, upon suffering or witnessing a violation of law. Create a unified system for prosecution and defense of violators, merging what is now the Prosecution and all Defense Bar (abolish the private defense bar). The new office will prosecute or defend violators, sort of like a box of chocolate, never know which side you will be on, fostering better sensitivity. Establish a Community Values Board to replace the court system. The Community Values Board will hear and adjudicate all matters, no more egotistical judges. This Community Values Board will also hear and determine all violation, claims and disputes. Comprised only of members of the same racial or ethnic group as the accused or defendant, the Community Values Board will insure fairness, justice, and sensitivity toward the plight of the accused, reflecting the values of the various communities. All decisions of the Community Values Board will be final, eliminating the duplication of effort of an appeal or review. This makes for an efficient system. Once the changes are adopted, taxes will go down by at least 70%, so free meals, health care, and other self gratification benefits to all will be a reality. Of course, as the system take root, and the citizens take control, taxes will further decrease as other government office are eliminate, perhaps by attrition, i.e. as citizens administer swift justice to corrupt politicians, the parking authority, the building authority, o well you get the idea, true state of Anarchy, like Burger King, you way.

The Airport cop was right to slap the bitch who was in his face. Show a little respect for LEO's. While she can run her mouth she never should have been within an inch of his face. She may have COVID and he was defending himself. I would love to defend him.

The airport incident is WAY different. The airport woman was clearly a threat. Self defense all the way. He slapped her to back her off and then tackled her to the ground. Well done.

The woman who was handcuffed was no threat at all. The punch and kick were wrong and that cop should be fired and prosecuted.

Trialmaster,

From a technical legal perspective you have merit, but from a more realistic humanitarian viewpoint, the woman deserved to be physically restrained and arrested but not savagely punched. Just because you can, doesn't always mean you should

What the fuck are you talking about. No man, much less a police officer, should ever strike a woman. Particularly in the manner that coward cop did. If a guy at a bar did that under the same circumstances, he would be arrested, likely after being pummeled.

These cowardly cops do these things because they are sadistic and can get away with it

I am ashamed that people are writing in to this blog, who are not engaged to defend this coward, to claim this was okay.

You guys are fucked up if you think that is okay.

I was the attorney for Guy Moulin, who was a tourist visting Florida from the French Island of Guadeloupe, the conduct of Det Archer was criminal in the arrest and beat down of my client. This made national news in France as I flown to Guadeloupe to do a TV interview. All of the this was brought to the attention of Ms. Fernandez-Rundle. She did absolutely nothing about it. At the conclusion of the case I referred my client to a civil lawyer where he obtained a financial settlement. There are many more cases that Fernandez-Rundle acted like an ostrich and burried her head in the sand. She has had 28 years as our SA it is time for her to go.

@1104

What nonsense. The idea that a man cannot defend himself against a woman who is clearly a physical threat is insane. But let's get something clear, the standard of threat to a police officer on duty is not the same as the standard of threat to a potentially drunk bar patron. That cop was on duty. She was belligerent, approached him in a threatening way, and touched him. That's battery on a LEO. Game over. Should she have been prosecuted for it? Nah. The punch and the night in jail were lesson enough. But the cop didn't do anything wrong to the airport woman.

Taught a lesson? You are a total punk. I would love to teach you a lesson.

If she committed a crime, arrest her. Don't 'teach her a lesson'. Listen to yourself. He wasn't defending himself. That could have been done without trying to cold cock her.

That officer is a cowardly punk, and you are one too if you think that was okay.
