When, in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

The history of the present BUSH is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has led this nation into war based solely on a lie.

He has refused his assent to laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

He has forbidden the congress to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has had his government spy on the people.

He has had his government stop, search, arrest, and detain people without cause or legal warrant.

He has formed secret prisons all over the world.

He has had his government agents torture people in violation of the law of these colonies, the law among nations, and common decency.

He has endeavored to prevent the population of these states; for that purpose obstructing the laws for naturalization of foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migration hither, and raising the conditions of new appropriations of lands.

He has obstructed the administration of justice, by refusing his assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers.

He has made judges dependent on his will alone; he has threatened judges, and he continually appoints judges who share his narrow view of freedom and rights.

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, standing armies without the consent of our legislature.

He has affected to render the military independent of and superior to civil power.

For cutting off our trade with all parts of the world:

For imposing taxes on us without our consent and running a deficit of hundreds of billions of dollars to pay for a war not supported by the people.

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of trial by jury.

For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses.

He is at this time transporting large armies of foreign mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the head of a civilized nation.

We, therefore, the representatives of the United States of America, in General Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies, solemnly publish and declare, that these united colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states; that they are absolved from all allegiance to the current tyrant Bush.

And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

All Republican apologists please report to the blog immediately. Remember the talking points-none of this matters when you compare it to the real issue-Obama will raise your taxes.
We are also beginning to capitalize on the new fear mongering issue that Guantanamo detainees will all be released into the Starbucks of America to sit among us and drink coffee while planning hourly terrorist attacks.

What hopes did you have for the elected clerk? That he was going to revolutionize the role of the clerk's office? Have you ever been to, or requested anything from the clerk's office?
It's a frickin' joke. They are still a hugely paper dependant office, where if you request anything, it takes 2 months for them to mail it to you.

Try applying for a marriage license. Fourteen ladies who work there can't look up from their gum chewing and nail filing to assist you.

Harvey may be a decent guy, but he is as old school politics as the rest of them. He just found a cushy elected office that increased his pay from $6,000 a year to $200,000 a year and he took it. Similar to what Margolis is trying to do. Except, you can do more to change policy from the Property Appraisor's Office than you can from the Clerk's.

And don't get me started on the whole "Global Warming" sham. BS selective science pushed by a self perpetuating bunch of chicken littles.

They don't tell you that the average temperature of earth was 1 degree cooler in 2007 than it was in 1997,
They don't tell you that although the ice in antarctica has receded on the east coast, that it has expanded on the west coast.
They don't tell you that the polar bear population has increased 300% since 1972 (a rate of increase much greater than the human population).

WASHINGTON—In an unexpected reversal that environmentalists and scientists worldwide are calling groundbreaking, President George W. Bush, for the first time in his political career, openly admitted to the existence of carbon dioxide following the release of the new U.N. Global Environment Outlook this October.

"Carbon dioxide, a molecule which contains one atom of carbon bonded with two atoms of oxygen, is a naturally occurring colorless gas exhaled by humans and metabolized, in turn, by plants," Bush told a stunned White House press corps. "As a leading industrialized nation, we can no longer afford to ignore the growing consensus of so many experts whose job it is to study our atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is real."

Because carbon dioxide, which was first described by 17th-century Flemish physician Jan Baptista van Helmont as a gas he referred to as "spiritus silvestre," has long been denied by the Bush administration, the president's speech was widely hailed as a victory for advocates of empirically established scientific fact.

"This has been a major step forward for national basic-chemistry policy," said longtime CO2 proponent and eighth-grade science teacher Linda Mattson. "By taking this brave stance, Bush has opened the door for the eventual acknowledgment that other molecular compounds, such as H20, for example, may in fact exist as well."

Many of those whom Bush has long considered to be his most loyal followers, however, have expressed disappointment with the development.

"There is nothing about any 'carbon dioxide' in the Bible," said Rev. Luke Hatfield of Christchurch Ministries in Topeka, KS. "What's next? Claims that so-called 'fossil' fuels come from mythical creatures like dinosaurs? This has been a sad step backward for our nation."

Joey Chestnut reclaimed the top spot at the annual hot dog eating contest in Coney Island on Friday after first tying with archrival Takeru Kobayashi in a 10-minute chow-down and then beating him in a five-dog eat-off.

These men are world class champions. Keep your head up Takeru!

Sources close to former Judge Ivan Hernandez say that he is determined to make sure McGillis does not ge elected Clerk of Court. Reliable source says Hernandez is behind Attorney Alfredo Perez filing for Clerk of Court.

Perez features a picture of himself with Ivan Hernandez and his wife on his Campaign web site.


At first glance appears Hernandez wants payback for the 2006 election. No word if Juan is involved.

In other news, forces loyal to the Q skirmished with shumie forces in Hialeah for the second straight day with no end in sight. The Q spokesman had this to say:

"If the Q catches those shumie guys stealing his hialeah DUIS he will bonk their heads together like Moe used to do to Curly and Shemp."

Shumie was unavailable for comment.

Fake Pannunzio was clueless to the problems. "Hey Dude. There's some Dude who owns a beer company running for Judge. Tasty times ahead in court I say."
