Now, we barely talk -rejecting plea offers by text. The future of our (somewhat) beloved criminal courthouse looks bleak. Overreaction or a fair comment on current events?
The Straits of Hormuz remain closed. The war drags on. Republicans are going to pay the price in the midterm elections. Overreaction or just the lay of the political landscape?
The Dolphins lost again. Their future is as bleak or bleaker than the REGJB. Overreaction because the Fins hung tough with KC for most of four quarters, or just recognizing another several years of Miami losing football?
But your Miami Hurricanes are looking good. Overreaction because their schedule has been weakish?

The Nor'easter slammed the north-east coast of the US. Overreaction because this was no Hurricane Sandy or fair comment because lots of towns are flooded with no electricity.

I’m not sure what blog you’ve been reading but it hasn’t been this one and you my friend and neither a long time nor careful reader. We have NEVER “followed” local judicial news. We have reported news. We have made news. But we surely have never and will never follow local judicial news. We cannot imagine anything more pedantic and boring.
Beginning of the era from what we saw this past Saturday
Judge Alan Postman was the best. So kind to all. His big personality is not seen in the meek jurists on the bench today.

I do not share your fondness and so I will remain uncharacteristically silent.
Judge Postman was rude, obnoxious, and above all else an ignoramus. He pretended to be kind and jovial by making the comments about donuts, but that was a facade. He loathed being told he was wrong even when he was in fact wrong. He made poor rulings and terrorized people for no reason. He should have never come over to criminal court where his decisions affected people so deeply. He should have stayed in civil deciding discovery disputes.
yes I agree. He was not good in criminal and hurt people to protect himself and his seat. He didn’t have the courage to do the right thing.
