KIM K PASSES BAR EXAM

In the scheme of things, it may be the most important legal news of the century.

Kim Kardashian has passed the Bar exam- and she didn't even go to law school.

Contracts? Torts? Why waste time with that when you're a billionaire because you ...do something, but are not quite sure what. There's a TV show, but we don't know why.

The news out of California, which Ms. K broke on some social media site we have never been on, and was since repeated until it made Le Monde, was that she passed one of two Bar exams.

It's California, so anything is possible.

Scene: A storefront office on Santa Monica Boulevard, LA.

Client walks in and is greeted by a receptionist.

R: How may I help you?

C: Hello. Umm... I need a lawyer cause I'm like famous for being famous. Do you like, um, have anyone who ummm like has experience in that?

R: Certainly Ms. Hilton, just have a seat. Ms. Kardashian will be with you shortly.

Of course she's famous for being famous. Mock her if you will, but at least she is trying to use that fame to effectuate some semblance of criminal justice reform.

California's "Baby Bar."

To 8:44 Really. If KK really cared about the Alice Johnson's in federal prison why has she not been outraged that there are thousands similarly situated still incarceratd. Probably no publicity or money in it. There has been bipartisan agreement for over a decade of sentenceing unfairness and racial disparities between crack v. powder cocaine
There also are those incarcerated because of cannabis when several states have cannabis tax revenues as a top 5 source of revenue. This embarrassing American status as leader in the world in incarceration continues under Biden/Harris seemingly without efforts to ameliorate. Kim, how about that sultry blue dress of yours used to announce your imminent entrance to the bar of California hustle on over to Governor Newsome, Nancy P in da House, Maxine and da VP (Calli alum), and get more Alice Johnson's out. Or, unlike Trump, Biden doesn't want your fat ass shaking your titties in his face? Did Trump lose the vote in Atlanta, Phoenix, Milwaukee, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia because he only interacted with you to use you to curry favor briefly in the black community, one grifter grifting another.? The ball's in your court KK, what is your next move, announce your intention to enter medical school in Grenada to be a pediatric trauma surgeon for all of your social media 13 year old followers?

She did not pass the bar..she passed what's called the baby bar which is a preliminary exam that all students who go to non accredited law schools in California are required to pass after their first year of law school in order to be eligible to one day sit for the California bar.

Typically you only get three chances to pass and you're out but due to covid the state of California added an extra chance this year. She passed on her Fourth and final try. Maybe she'll pass the real Cali bar one day but it's probably a long shot.

She not seeking to reform anything. This is a publicity stunt from someone who is not famous for anything but the size of her butt and tits and her capacity to do things to keep herself in the people section. Her dad was a brilliant lawyer who worked for everything he had. The daughter has not, she's the epitomy of a golddigger and someone who should not be taken seriously.

OK, let us be honest. Why do we have law school? We have law school because of structural racism.

The way one once became a lawyer was by clerking. One went to work for a lawyer, was paid for one's time, and if one had the aptitude for the profession, one could read the law. Eventually, if the Clerk learned the law, a Clerk could sit for the bar exam and upon a passing score become a lawyer.

This system worked for centuries until it got carried over to the USA. Here in America, Jews, and worse, the Irish, became lawyers. Once one dirty Irishman got into the bar, he brought in his brother, his cousin, his friend's son. Before you know it, one Irish lawyer had created six more, then those six spawned thirty-six. And the Jews! They were even worse. The establishment was appalled.

In order to stop the influx of the jews and Irish something had to be done. A barrier had to be erected. That barrier was the law school. The establishment could not keep Uncle Mordecai from bringing all his family into the law office, but, it could certainly keep them out of law school.

So yeah, you all just pat yourselves on the back because you all graduated from fancy schools. No structural racism in your legal profession. Oh, no.

@252

You clearly have never been to 73 West Flagler Street. Buddy, I have news for you about the Jews! Not to mention the Cubans. And, stop the presses, everyone's favorite, the Jewbans!!!!!

When veterans returned from WW2 they did not have to complete law school. In 1990 I practiced in front of 2 judges who did not attend law school in Labelle, FL. 1/2 of Law school was bs. Per stripes v. Per capita. Rule against perpendiculers, etc.

LOL. Right. Jews and the Irish were at the top of the list of people the whites wanted to keep out.

Yes and we made med school to keep the Jews out also. How's that working out for the racists.

Conflict between Protestants and Catholics in the United States had already broken out in violence before the first potato plant wilted in Ireland. Anti-Catholic, anti-Irish mobs in Philadelphia destroyed houses and torched churches in the deadly Bible Riots of 1844. Wild conspiracy theories took root that women were held against their will in Catholic convents and that priests systematically raped nuns and then strangled any children born as a result of their union.

They created the anti-Catholic, anti-Irish, anti-immigrant American Party, whose members were called the "Know-Nothings" because they claimed to "know nothing" when questioned about their politics. Party members vowed to elect only native-born citizens-but only if they weren't Roman Catholic. Protestantism defined American society. Catholicism was incompatible with basic American values.

Buoyed by the Trumpie war-cry "Americans must rule America!", the Know-Nothings elected eight governors, more than 100 congressmen and mayors of cities including Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago in the mid-1850s. They found their greatest success in Massachusetts where in 1854 the American Party captured all state offices, the entire State Senate and all but a handful of seats in the House chamber. According to Dolan, once in power in Massachusetts the Know-Nothings mandated the reading of the King James Bible in public schools, disbanded Irish militia units while confiscating their weapons and deported nearly 300 poor Irish back to Liverpool because they were a drain on the public treasury.

She only passed the baby bar which apparently is equivalent to finishing first year of law school . So, relax, she won't be handling any arraignments yet.

Kim K doesn't care about sentencing reform. She cares about herself and her brand. No one should respect someone who people's cases as publicity stunts. She hasn't earned any place in the legal community
