What on earth happened this week with Tinkler Mendez filing Bar complaints against 2 ASA's and throwing them both out of her courtroom for life? The entire SAO is buzzing about it.

Where are you? In Tokyo? 1942?

What next? A Haiku or a perhaps a stroll in the Gion District looking for a young Geisha?

If Shumie was an actor, what method would he use?
Strasberg? Stanislavski? Meisner?

I also heard about Tinkler going crazy all over prosecutors who announced ready and then went on a rampage adding charges and disco and not being honest about what they were doing.

Forget the Geisha. Go to old part of Kyoto and find a Maiko! Right?

The Captain must be off partying for the weekend. Judge Blumstein has drawn a formidable opponent and the Captain hasn't said a word. The first contested election of the season!!! Will Ariel Rodriguez take down Blumstein?

Is SENRYU the offshoot franchise of Kappo Massa?

WHO in their right mind wants to stay and live in Miami. It is slowly being taken over by armed gang members who will kill and Rob you. This is how it starts. Lawlessness.

Drive a fancy car? Top down? Rolex? Good luck. See you on the other side.

I’m selling and getting out.

I don't always read the blog but i feel compelled to comment on the Kappo Masa reference. I recently had the pleasure of dining with my son in this wonderful restaurant. Its located (literally) downstairs from the Gagosian Gallery on Madison. Great Omakase experience as well as the menu choices. Don't buy the hype that New York is down and out...

On the Tinkler-Mendez thing?

Hey prosecutors!!! Know your case before you announce ready. Filing new charges on the day of trial with 35 pre-screened jurors standing outside. Seriously? How old was that case that you finally read your file? FORCING a continuance. Nice way to waste 4-500 hours of people's time getting the case to that point.

Do your work ahead of time. Judge Tinkler-Mendez would never file a bar complaint. She is too nice a person. But she had every right to be upset.

The thugs all have guns. When fired upon they fire back. If you are in Miami, you better be packing.

Well, it appears you are stiff competition for The Donald. He has permanently shut down his blog. Congratulations

You want to know why young judges suck. Because they are too busy keeping everybody happy and secure their jobs. When was it the judge's job to keep lawyers happy? Prosecutors and Public Defenders somehow think they are in charge. They are not in charge, the judge is.

It is the advocate's job to operate within the rules and the law and when they abuse those rules it is the judge's job to bring them back in line. This thought process of "how dare the judge admonish me for my misconduct" has to end. You screwed up and deserved what happened to you.

Are you listening Katherine Fernandez Rundle? Get control over your office, instead of continuously running for re-election.

I don't blame Tinkler-Mendez for getting pissed. The attempt to manipulate the system by filing new charges on the first day of trial because the state is not ready for trial is not new. It has cost the state more than one case. ASAs have to stop sitting on their ass all day wondering where they are going to go for happy hour and actually prepare their cases for trial prior to the weekend before they are begin.

I wonder who posted this comment. It could be anyone...

Guess all you would like. You are probably wrong. Even if you are right, I could hardly care less what you think.
