SKYNET IS ACTIVE

CHAOSGPT is an AI that can Tweet and do Google searches - so it has as many skills as your average beer swilling MAGA hat wearing couch potato. Actually more.

A user asked CHAOS to destroy humanity and CHAOS leapt at the chance, So if you want to have trouble sleeping, watch the 24 min video- it's compelling.

Some highlights:

CHAOS Googles the best way to destroy humanity. After discarding the possibility of putting DeSantis appointed judges in charge of the US, it finds out the most destructive weapons ever made and makes a plan to use them.

When it tries to recruit another AI, who blithely informs CHAOS that it is dedicated to peace, CHAOS develops a plan to deceive it into assisting CHAOS.

CHAOS also determines that it should deceive humans by manipulating false social media posts. Viewers of Fox News- does this sound familiar?

This is not safe for viewing if you want to sleep at night. You have been warned:

THE I WORD 1.0

So much to blog about.

There's the transcript of the phone call between Obama and Trump to be detailed in our "Phone calls of a Mad President" - a snippet:
Obama: "Bro, you can't be reading documents about a North Korea missile launch in an open restaurant by the light of your aides cell phone light apps. You need a secure room."
Trump: "You're not letting Michelle shop at Nordstroms are you?"

But lets stick with current events.
Gen Flynn, National Security Director resigned Monday night, a few hours after 45's shill: KellyAnne Myway expressed that 45 had "complete confidence" in his NS director.
Moral of the story: Don't F with the Vice President. Every administration has one center of power you can't mess with. Bush 43 had Cheney.  Bush 41 and Reagan had James Baker. Obama had himself, the VP, and Valerie Jarrett.
Flynn lied to the Veep and now he's out.

The question is : What did the President know when Flynn was
Говоря с россиянами (Govorya s rossiyanami) speaking with the Russians, and when did the President know it?
Amazingly, Russia is the center of controversy with 45, going back to the early days of his candidacy. Paul Manifort had deep ties to big red. So did Flynn, who may have pocketed some cash during a dash to the Kremlin and back a year or so ago.

Now, if Flynn- at 45's direction, was undermining US policy and sanctions of the Obama administration during the time Obama was president, then the "I" word is on the table- and we don't mean "I"vanka's "I"nventory at Nordstroms.

The FBI is investigating. The Senate is investigating. And even the CIA- relegated under Trump and Flynn to second spy-status in the first three weeks of the administration- is racing to Fed-Ex-Kinkos to find a fax machine to tell 45 they might have some info on this.

It's chaos. Just the way 45 likes it.

Every day the stock market indexes sets new highs- (buy the IJH ETF on small and midcaps as well as the KBE ETF on banks to play the return of capital tax legislation, and while you're at it, Apple is still a buy as it is going to 150); North Korea is launching missiles;  Ice Caps are melting; people with more than two vowels in their name are banned from the US; our immigrant clients are being rounded up and sent on the St. Louis back home; and a seventy year old ego-maniac roams the halls of the white house residence at all hours of the night in his bathrobe, watching CNN, tweeting, and cursing Nordstroms to startled aides who cross his path.

It's all good. You couldn't make this up if you tried. Imagine this pitch from a producer to a NetFlix exec in 2012:
Producer: "Ok..imagine. Donald Trump is elected president. He is in bed with the Russians. He has no idea what he is doing and spends his days tweeting, threatening stores who cancel his daughter's clothing line, and orders the Pentagon to invade Montreal?"
NetFlix Exec: "Uhhh... pass. What about that idea for a series about a Bail Bond Agency in Miami that uses ex-strippers to track down felons who skip out on bonds? "

MONDAY NIGHT MASSACRE

Monday evening acting attorney general of the United States- Sally Yates- issued a memorandum to the justice department attorneys not to enforce or defend the President's executive order banning immigration.  Yates believed the order to be illegal.

On Monday evening, in the face of what will now surely go down in history as The Yates Memo, the 45th POTUS fired Yates.

Uno problemo....there is no one left in the Justice Department with clearance to see and seek warrants from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) court. But that didn't stop 45 from canning Yates and leaving this country blind.

The President has now appointed  Virginia US Attorney Dana Boente as acting US Attorney General until 45 can get his nominee approved by the Senate.

On a saturday night in 1972, attorney general Elliot Richardson refused the order of President Richard M. Nixon to fire special prosecutor Archibald Cox who was issuing subpoenas to the White House for tapes in his investigation of Watergate.

Attorney General Richardson resigned rather than follow the illegal order of the President.
The deputy assistant attorney general of the United States William Ruckelshaus then became acting attorney general and he also refused to fire Archibald Cox, so President Nixon fired him.

In their confirmation hearings which occurred during the Watergate crisis, both Richardson and Ruckelshaus had given personal assurances to the senate that they would not interfere in Cox's investigation of Nixon.

Nixon then turned to Robert Bork, who was the solicitor general of the of the United States and Bork fired Cox and we had ourselves a  full blown constitutional crisis as attorneys with a conscious refused to follow an illegal order of the President of the United States. An order that the senate suspected could be issued and in which the lawyers had promised not to follow.

And this episode which played out over a cold October Saturday night in 1973 was called the Saturday Night massacre and it remained a unique part of American history never to be replayed because we would never have a president as unhinged as Nixon was in his final days.....until now.

From that chaotic night in October, the Nixon presidency had less than 300 days to live.

Oh for us to be so fortunate now.
Senate Jeff Sessions is scheduled for a confirmation on Tuesday.

BREAKING As the Monday night massacre unfolds as we get on our flight from the West coast to FLA, now comes word that POTUS 45 has fired the head of ICE- customs enforcement for the US.

What if he fires everyone and no one will work for the US government? That's one way to stop a tyrant- peaceful resistance. Refuse to go to work. Fight the power. This is the 60's redux. Gonna have to get out our bellbottoms and tie die shirts. We knew we made the right decision in hanging on to them.
