MIAMI MYSTERY

Imagine for the moment your REGJB judge leaves for work and is never seen again.  Now erase that warm smile from your face and don't get too excited.

But that's what happened on October 16, 1962, when Miami City Attorney Olavi Hendrickson left for work. He was never seen again and his family has no idea what happened to him. But there are clues.

Hendrickson was investigating the Clover Club, described as a once respectable dining establishment on Biscayne Boulevard that had fallen into the clutches of organized crime and had "B girls" sitting at the bar hustling expensive drinks.  Miami did close the club, and Olavi was never seen again.

All of this and more can be found in a Florida Bar Journal article here (yes, we sometimes are so bored we read the Bar Journal).

You can also check out this site for more info:  Miam Mystery.

So unless your judge rules against MAGA morons and gets voted out of office              (sorry Mavel), it's more than likely your judge will be safely making it from home to work and back again (by 3! for that mani-pedi). And that's how it should be.

And while you're pondering that, consider why we don't have more legal leaders named Olavi in Miami?  Hmmmmm.....
