I BEFORE E EXCEPT AFTER T(RUMP)
The president sent out letters earlier this week to various heads of state informing them of pending tariffs. Unfortunately, grammar matters.

I heard a prosecutor offer 30 days in Alligator Alcatraz or 90 days in DCJ today in court. To the defendant's credit, he really had to mull over which one he preferred. However, right before the judge was to begin the plea colloquy, the prosecutor KNP'd the case because he realized they had the wrong person in custody the entire time. Fun times.
Yes, grammar matters. It could be worse tho. We could have an mentally incompetent President surrounded by staff and medical professionals who conspire to cover up his cognitive state and then subsequently invoke the 5th Amendment when called to testify about the then President's mental state and cover up. Kinda like Biden's doctor, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, just did.
That letter is embarrassing. Not the matters redlined. The contents. No wonder no one takes us seriously on the world stage. I guess no one else could knock us off the pedestal after the end of the Cold War, so we had to do it ourselves.
Or we could have had a competent person like Harris who would have known the PM from Liberia in the Oval Office this week speaks English as it’s the official language of his country. And she would have appointed health officials who would not have advised against the measles vaccine. Measles is now killing children in the United States again. And she would have appointed a secretary of defense who wouldn’t have disclosed imminent bombing plans on what’s app to most of the world. Just saying this administration is staffed by incompetents. Bove was just exposed as lying to the judiciary committee as the AAG he fire just disclosed the emails where he advised prosecutors to ignore court orders and tell them fuck you. At every level they could not be any worse.
I liked it at 10. Still like it at 20 but I think we’re headed for another tariff pullback which as I have repeatedly said is noise and not fundamental weakness as we all know potus caves when the market falls. So I’m holding sofi and will pick up more below 15 BUT read the news on Apple making a foldable phone. $oled supplies the screens to Apple and most other phones. It has STRONG resistance at the 160 level but once Apple announces band it holds above 160 the next level I see is 225. So I’m continually dedicating mist of my free cash to $oled. There’s a sweet beach house in Cape May I have my eye on and an $oled run will allow me to buy it for cash. I may put down a deposit. Close with a five year mortgage and pay it all off next year when $oled runs. Invest wisely. Sofi has a great future.
Hey 11:08, did I miss the part where Trump has disclosed any of his actual medial records? Or even any of his academic grades? All I've ever seen was a random letter from a quack Dr who says Trump is in the best shape of any 70+ year old. Didn't Trump also claim to be 6" 3' and 215lbs... so come one...
PS- did he end the war in Ukraine yet? How about bring about peace in the middle east, which I thought he told me Kushner achieved in the first term? Well at least Trump got the deficit under control... oh wait...
Interesting take on OLED. I bought in at $201 and was very bullish on it, but the fundamentals are great on this. QXO has some good leadership too. Been seeing a lot on OSCR as well.

Is there something Biden did or didn't do that makes you question his competence? Does Trump's erratic behavior about tariffs or support to Ukraine or cuts to Medicaid make you question his competence?
Agree with many things you say Rumpole, and certainly don’t quarrel with your opinions of Trump but to call Harris competent is an equal stretch. And to say “she would have” done this or that is just not at all consistent with her record. Bottom line is Trump essentially ran unopposed and still almost lost and until the Democrats stop saying their candidate was great and actually put up a decent candidate, it will be more of the same. And let’s not forget the VP choice Tim Walz, so the “she would have” just doesn’t work.

The lack of responsiveness happened because the agency had fired hundreds of contractors at call centers, according to a person briefed on the matter who spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to discuss internal matters.
And for those of your readers who believe that immigrants in brutal detention facilities committed violent crimes in the US, WaPo has analyzed detentions in Fla., finding that most detainees were abducted by ICE due only to minor traffic violations.
