Every time I see KFR at an event, I’m reminded of Weekend at Bernie’s.
This is a cross between pandering and a circle jerk.

Not you responding anonymously to an email I sent publicly to FACDL members. You must be an ASA eavesdropping on defense emails. Trying to insult someone for seeking collaboration on a large amount of pro bono requests is pathetic, no defense attorney would try to make an insult of such a request. Grow up. And if you knew anything about me, which you obviously don’t, you would know that I do a lot of pro bono work. If my goal was money I would choose a different career.
Remind me which “other attorneys did a good job” on Pearson’s case? I did all the post conviction investigating and filed all the post conviction motions. But for my work discovering the Brady violations Pearson would be in prison for life.

Hmmm… not sure I agree with this approach. I wouldn’t say “bringing misconduct to their attention” is “piling more on.” It’s quite literally our jobs as defense attorneys. My God, is it the old dogs that acquiesce in the misconduct that have this opinion? How about this… retire! Go spend time with your grandkids before they hate you.

There is one thing I want to add that was lost in my response. I did work with some phenomenal women through the process. While I did the post-conviction investigation and motion writing alone, I did have an incredible support team and got advise from incredible women. They all know who they are and know I appreciate them deeply. Whether it was legal advise or just an espresso martini to decompress, it’s so important to have a community. @12:29 I hope your bitterness subsides.

Michele is a young lawyer who knew something was off in Pearson and didn’t stop until she uncovered the misconduct. She systematically went piece by piece and put a not so great looking puzzle together and ultimately got what she believed to be right for her client as a result. Her skills will continue to be sharpened but tenacity and diligence are not something you can teach. She has both. Please do not try to break her spirit for whatever your selfish reasons are. I’m glad she knows some underestimate her because that will help her keep her edge in this back biting arena. Michele there will always be people who want to insult, degrade or bring you down. That only means you are doing something right.

Thank God almighty free at last” and commented that he will be back to streaming and publicly talking crap because “I am no longer under my previous employer’s gag order.” Anyone who had private conversations with this goof should be very afraid of the garbage this guy will invent, stretch and manipulate to try to make himself relevant. As a taxpayer, I also want to know if the SAO continued to pay his salary all of these months and whether he produced any work product other than his latest greatest Canceled in Miami book.
Looks like Gosney was hired by a small insurance defense/personal injury firm Nicklaus & Associates PA. Located in the Gables. He changed his business address on the Florida Bar to Gables but for firm website he has his personal book selling website and his personal email. That’s a bit shady. But oh yea…. He is shady. I hope Edward Nicklaus realizes this guy appears a loose cannon with loose lips and zero discretion who will publish private recent work product including emails, for the public to see. Kudos for taking on that liability.

I’m glad he found a job in Miami but I agree that his discretion is questionable and he is a potential liability with his loose lips and enormous ego. People would leave him alone if he left us alone. He posts gratuitous jabs on social media so we are entitled to jab right back. Had someone properly advised him how to handle this entire situation this would have ended a long time ago and he might have even kept his job. Instead he stirred the pot, encouraged pod casts bashing state and defense bar, permitted veiled and overt threats by the troll club etc. etc. etc.

Your Messiah made the conscious (and dumb decision) to remain quiet when his troll farm decided to start harassing defense lawyers on what they construed as “the defense bar got him fired,” conveniently leaving out the detail that HE QUIT on his own volition for whatever reason and that he was asking the defense bar for employment.
As an attorney, he is expected to be truthful; he just chose not to do that for his gain, which has proven counterproductive. To him, it was more important to feed his ego through the creepy demonstrations of loyalty by his cult members while allowing misinformation and lies to be spread. This is quite unethical by any stretch of the imagination.
Employers do not want to deal with misfits acting crazy online and threatening lawyers for some lie they created that Gosney failed to rectify. Or maybe it was their grand plan all along for fame and views.
Therefore, whatever heat he gets from this situation is his own doing. It’s about time he wears his big boy pants and accepts responsibility instead of blaming others for his choices and failures. Public service exposes people to public scrutiny. Mr. Scholar should have known that.

Michele and all the lawyers who unveiled all the mendacity in that office should be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Do you know how hard it is to ensure that you, clowns follow the law? It takes a monumental amount of work and patience.
A friend who permits those under her leadership to cheat and hurt defendants by violating their constitutional rights is not a friend. Personally, I prefer friends with ethics and honor who stand for what’s right and take accountability when they are wrong.

No it’s not. It’s an assumption that the second Herald reporter did not participate in the second story because she would not participate in alleged unethical journalistic behavior. A simple google search reveals she went to another media outlet. We applaud the Herald for allowing the community to see who he really is. Thank God someone was willing to publicly admit he is a nut. Back to why it’s not an assumption, Ms reloaded herself who has subsequently deleted all social media droned on about how he emailed the “hit piece” to all his you tubers and they were to protect him at all costs. Someone else posted a photo of a loaded gun being racked to avenge him and he said how kind they were for doing that. That’s a puppeteer at work behind the scenes who tries to give himself enough plausible deniability so it doesn’t track back. Too bad his peeps are too too chatty.
