1) Trump was quoted by saying this in recent political rallies and told that Hitler used the same words.
2) On July 31, 1932, Hitler said this about the results of his National Socialist Party winning 230 seats in the 600 member Reichstag. The National Socialists won the largest block of votes, although not a majority that Hitler was hoping for, it allowed him to form a coalition and be offered the Chancellorship. We find it remarkable that Hitler used the "No one has seen anything like this" type of rhetoric that the former president often includes in his comments about nearly everything.
3) Joseph Goebbels said this after Hitler was offered the Chancellorship. It is ominous that Trump has his own Goebbels in Miller.
4) Both Hitler and Trump went to court after they lost an election. In April 1932, before the July election, Hitler lost the Reich presidency to Hindenburg by 5,941,582 votes. The Court upheld the election results, ruling that the margin of victory was "so significant that it made no sense for a national recount of the ballots." Hitler nevertheless declared victory and claimed the election was stolen. Sound familiar?
5) This was Hitler after the loss in April 1932. His words sound strangely familiar though, don't they? Be honest, many of you thought Trump said this. And that should bother you as much as it does us.
6) This was Hiter after being arrested in 1919 after the failed Beer Hall Putsch. He also vowed "heads will roll".

8) Kurt Von Schleicher, the German defense minister who was known as the ultimate Berlin Power broker said this after meeting with Hitler to discuss the results of the July 1932 election.
The point of this little exercise is how closely the words of two evil men mirror each other. We have no idea if Trump chooses his words to mirror Hitler. We doubt he is that smart. But what Trump is doing is using the same playbook that Hitler used. Both men gained power by appealing to an uneducated and depressed lower middle class for his power, blaming the troubles of their respective countries on immigrants.

I know off topic but I have an issue. I’m from the Midwest. Wrestled in high school and Div I college. I’m very careful with what I eat and my weight. I come to Miami for a legal job and I admit my head gets turned by these Latinas. Like we never had anything like that from my small home town in Iowa. But I’m careful and picky and eventually meet and date this amazing woman who grew up in Hialeah. First generation from Cuba. Parents sacrificed so she could go to college and med school and now she’s a pediatric resident. So far so good. We click on every level but one. Love silly movies. Make fun of the contestants on the bachelor etc. agree to read the same book and talk about it. But food is an issue. It started when she brought me home and I picked at the food her mom made. There was a shredded meat dish that was also fried!! Lots of starchy carbs beyond the white rice which I never eat. Brown rice yes. White never. But I tried. Had the black beans lots of salad a little rice and a dab of the meat. Apparently her father was insulted and called me names to her. She was angry and was like why couldn’t I for one night just eat like a regular person?
I don’t get it. We work out together. Ride our bikes over the key biscayne bridge. I make her power smoothies for breakfast and she used to brag to her friends about me doing that. Now it’s like when she’s off she makes bacon and eggs and fried potatoes and this white toast drowning in butter and coffee loaded with sugar and I’m like can I have a small scrambled egg and she gets angry. The other night I swear after some great private time together which is always amazing with us as soon as we caught her breath she was like “ why can’t you eat like a regular guy?” And I don’t get it. Her other bfs cheated on her and one was abusive. I work 60-70 hours a week. I help clean the condo. I make her smoothies. I put little gifts in her bag with notes for her to find during her time at work. If she comes home at midnight after a shift I have candles and flowers and food waiting for her. We get along every way and yet this food issue feels like it’s going to tear us apart. I have a good body. Definitely a six pack and a low body fat. I’m 6 foot 1. I look good in a bathing suit or a suit. I dress well. We talked about adopting a rescue dog. When she finishes residency she wants to donate her time to Doctors Without Borders and I’m all in on that. And yet when we go to the movies she gets angry when I pull out a sliced apple and don’t eat the popcorn which she pours M&Ms into !! I mean who does that who isn’t 15 years old ?
Any advice from you or readers would be nice. Love the blog btw. And she reads it too.

for any student of history. Miller sounds like Goebbels, but looks like
Eichmann. Check out their pictures side by side.

It’s not me making a big deal of this - it’s her. She can eat whatever she wants. She’s the one stressing about the healthy way I eat. She can eat however she wants. I don’t stop her from getting the awful movie popcorn and pouring candy into it. I just choose not to eat it because it makes me feel like crapola.
