No word on who is replacing him. Judge Adrien has been nominated by readers of the blog, but Samantha Ruiz Cohen may have something to say about that. We hear her campaign is going like gangbusters and just about every day we see a different fundraiser for her in our email. Greenberg Traurig is throwing one for her soon, and that's a pretty hefty firm to have on your side. Judge Adrien's days may well be numbered and that, in our humble opinion, is not necessarily a bad thing.
Good move? Bad move? What say you?
Who do you want to see take over the reins as CJ for the REGJB?
Global warming- the good news: probably less hurricanes.
Global warming the bad news: more powerful hurricanes.
Read all about it in the Herald here.

all good things come to an end, but... perhaps he can help bring back civility to civil court!
I will really miss him. Judge Blake is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
according to the email that went out, he's going to family not civil....
Blakes been fabulous as Administartive Judge.
Not afraid of hard decisions. Expert in Death Penalty cases. Knows how to deal with prima donna judges (aka cueto). he'll be missed.
ESPECIALLY since Brown had been appointing Administrative Judges at random, not seniority, and he's best friends with the Scola family. Better be prepared for JACKIE SCOLA to replace Stan.
Adrien for Administrative Judge!
What an awful idea.
Did Blake finally reach the level of competence as Administrative Judge to force someone to move him?
Stan is pleasant, skilled, experienced, and a good supervisor. In whose world does that add up to: obviously he should be moved?
Stan,
Please don't go.
You have been wonderful!
obviously Stan thinks its time to make a move. after all, how can one spend his entire career at the JB. Chief Joel will let stan go whereever he desires. stan has earned it and both stan and joel are loyal Gators. Good luck to Stan.
Blake is not going to civil. He is going to family.
That motherF**** had better leave. Sticking me in Jail bond hearings all those weeks!
Adios Amigos.
Fake Judge Cueto
As I see Judge Adrien...
"Narcissist
A dysfunctional state of mind who are often self absorbed, insecure, needy, self centered, selfish fucks who’s heads are so far up their own assess they think the world revolves around them."
RE soon-to-be-former-judge-Adrien: he is not as bad as many on this blog make him out to be. However, there is no doubt that Samantha Ruiz Cohen will do much better.
I hate to see Stan go. He has been one of the best judges we have ever had in criminal and we will miss him.
Stan, thanks for all you have done.
Samantha Ruiz Cohen was a great prosecutor. She's smart, learned and reasonable. More importantly, she's a terrific person who has the demeanor to be a wonderful judge. I can't imagine anyone who has worked with or for her saying otherwise.

"Better be prepared for JACKIE SCOLA to replace Stan."
Okay, such imagery is terrible and you should be shot for posting that.
ROSA RODRIGUEZ is a very efficient judge and would be able to manage rings around the competition. If Blake has to go, that's the perfect replacement.
My vote is for Maximum Miller.
Who put Rosa and the word "efficient" in the same sentence?
Have you ever spent a lifetime trying to get your case to trial in front of her? Whew!
Let's come together and support a new Criminal Chief at the JB. I have started a petition to get Judge Cueto appointed the open slot of CJ of Criminal.
To 10:14: love the idea of Cueto as admin judge. very funny post.
however, jokes aside, even cueto would be better than rosa rodriguez. she is ill-tempered and rude and thinks she knows everything.
Cueto better than Rosa I. Rodriguez?
You must be smoking some damned good stuff.
Pass and share bro.
I would choose judge Lawrence Schwartz. or Resurrect Alan Schwartz
Jolting Joe, a lonely nation's eyes turn to you ...
Please don't go! We'll shine your gator balls every week!
bye bye Macho Camacho.
HOw the heck does Adrian get nominated by readers of this blog. Nominated for what. He is arguable one of the worst judges in recent history
