TONY MARIN

In an election for an open seat, Marie Davidson goes up against Tony Marin.

Anyone who has worked in the REGJB for the last 20 years knows Tony Marin. He is an experienced and respected defense attorney and we are confident that if elected he will hit the ground running.

We were somewhat surprised to read that Ms. Davidson told the Herald words to the effect that her candidacy was something of a lark. This is an important position. A Circuit Judge can and does decided life and death. We don’t know much about Ms. Davidson but we think that if she was not really going to try, why qualify for the seat and possibly scare away a more qualified candidate? You want to play around? Go become a traffic magistrate.

In any event, Tony Marin is the solid pick for this seat. He is qualified and experienced and really wants to be a Judge.

RUMPOLE ENDORSES TONY MARIN FOR ELECTION.

Tony is a great guy but a circuit court judge? Running around a courthouse for twenty years does not qualify you to make those life and death decisions. Sorry Tony-handling DWLSs doesn't qualify you to preside over a four codefendant first where the state seeks the DP where there are Bruton issues, 404{b}, two juries and Abe Laeser breathing down your neck. Will the state NP if they have a good license?

the truth at 12:03:37 is obviously a young lawyer bc Tony has been around and handled many very serious cases in State and Federal courts. Maybe he has been winding down to prepare for this run? I don't know but you certainly don't know.

Tony handled very serious cases for many years, he is up for the job.

dear truth,
tony will be fine. you need to go private already. you have been at the pdo to long. are you doing cross word puzzels yet?

Love Tony but when was the last time he tried a felony? Too many decisions are based on a popularity contest. You want your judes to be the MOST experienced and the BRIGHTEST. Not a guy who has just been around a long time.

The truth hurts sometimes.

By the way...been aroung the REG for nearly 16 years (not a PD). Tried over a hundred felony cases and I am very very tired.

See you in (circuit)court.

Why should I care?

Wrong courthouse Dummy.

try reading florida evidence code 90.404(b) genius.

The definition of a Golembe is "short rat-like defense attorney, with voice like joe peschi, and looks like gilbert gottfried."

joel robrish? no, I can't believe it. he can't be rump. too -- too -- can't think of the exact word, but he's too something to be rumpole. I imagine rump to be a little bit less than joel robrish who's a great guy that mostly keeps to himself and don't meddle. but then again, you never know, right.

To: the truth said. Well, what does make a circuit court judge? If not running around a courthouse for 20 years...what does? Can Davidson hope to get this based on her own experience? I think not.

Tony's opponent is very qualified TRIAL lawyer. Contact her and she will prove it!

Anonymous said...

yeah, well if her grammar is as good as yours, i doubt it.

And Tony Marin likes Cathy Parks

if you knew Tony, do da, like I know Tony...Listen up "16 years around the courthouse," hundreds...I said HUNDREDS of felony trials, stress up the ying yang, switches to a whole new area of law, masters it, what hasn't he done? Do you truly want another no-name, no-experience, no-know-what-its-like-to-be-a-private-attorney idiot on the bench? You know the ones, chewing gum is an offense to the court, let me go through my 99-page calendar before I take you, Private Attorney, out of turn, what's that? you have to be in Broward, West Palm AND Federal Court by 10:00 a.m. ? Oh, too bad, bailiff, get Private Attorney a chair...Give me a f'g break.

Anonymous said...

"ass wipe?" You mean like...a wet one? Did you check your evidence book yet? Are my "cap's" ok with you? 16 years of this?

If Tony Marin likes Parks,I'm going with her. Tony is a wonderful attorney. I'm sure that Parks is likewise.
