President Obama has nominated two outstanding jurists for the federal bench: State Circuit Judge Bob Scola for the District Court and District Court Judge Bert Jordan for the 11th Circuit. Any chance the senate moves on these nominations before the election?
Governor Scott just set a third execution date for Manuel Valle, who was convicted for murdering Coral Gables Police Officer Louis Pena in 1978. The September 28th execution date will be the third set for Valle this year.
The City of Miami fired its police chief, while the Regional Counsel hasn't fired anyone in days.

The level of mis-information and false allegations here have reached a new level.
Although I'm sure (and hope) your $275 price on the '08 Caymus Special Select was based on your stupidity of purchasing it at a restaurant, it is widely available for $99.
A quick Google search will find plenty of online retailers happy to send you as much as you want for $99 a bottle.
While a solid wine in any year, I would suggest purchasing the '09, at $99, rumored to be better than '08.
RUMPOLE: BREAKING NEWS; the jqc interview schedule for 3rd dca regional counsel has been moved up, probably due to firings, from oct.14 to sept.24 and there is a new jqc chair, the only non-lawyer on the commission. so may have a new counsel by oct. 1 when originally 4 year term of george was to expire.
