If you follow Rumpole's Rules For Trials ((c) 2010 all rights reserved) then you know a few things. Avoid Friday Verdicts; NEVER EVER EVER allow a case to be set for trial in the first week of January; and ...
always try to try a case in the last two weeks of December.
Unlike the first week of January, everyone is in a good mood, especially the jurors, who are more likely to overlook a little mistake (like "I thought the billing codes for medicare were correct, darn it").
But alas, our secret is out:
FYI from the Jury Pool -Because the holidays are observed on Monday (12/26) and (1/2), we will be bringing in jurors on Tues, Wed and Thurs of both weeks. There will be no jurors on Friday 12/30 and 1/6.

Shumie update ? A little Xmas eve The Ren (a venue) get together. Some chicarones , wild roast turkeys from Oregon, truffle pasta from Milan, homemade coconut ice cream freeze cake ? Let’s do this and reminisce.
Have you been hired yet to defend in the FTX trial ?
Rumpole, no comments on the finale of The White Lotus? Do you think it is a drama or dark comedy?
