50 years ago, March 24, 1972, a little movie named The Godfather was released. The movie had a difficult beginning, Paramount walked away from it pre and post-production several times, before finally finishing it and releasing the picture.
The movie has generated some of the most recognizable lines of all time:
I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse;
They shot Sonny on the causeway;
Have the veal, it's the best in the city;
Leave the gun; take the cannoli;
It's no personal Sonny, it's strictly business;
It was Barzini all along;
Tom, can you get me off the hook? For old times Sake.
Even Sonny won't be able to call off Luca Brazzi....yeah, well, let me worry about Luca
He's still alive, they hit him with five shots and he's still alive.

To celebrate, this greatest flick of all time had been playing at the Gateway Theater in Fort Lauderdale, run ran today
My greatest movies of all time;
1. The Godfather trilogy
2. To Kill a Mockingbird
3. The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence
4. 2001 A Space Odyssey
5. Singing in the Rain
Scott, you have mediocre taste.
On My List...
The Royal Tannenbaums, No Country For Old Men, Boogie Nights, Blue Velvet
Are we ready to talk about Uncut Gems?
Godfather 1 and 2 were the best. I refuse to admit that Godfather 3 was made.
The Godfather should be canceled. Completely fucking racist.
DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!!!!!
Scott, a man of great knowledge and probably the dean of rock and roll, is considerably younger than me, and missed the greatest movie of all time in my humble opinion: Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
Anonymous at 1:25 does not know what he is talking about.
To my colleagues from both the state and defense I say...
"we're both part of the same hypocrisy"
One flew over the cuckoos nest has to be on the list.
Let’s just pretend that the world wasn’t different in the past. Perhaps all the old movies should be “canceled “ since blacks had only minor roles, if at all. The first West Side Story I guess should not be shown since the only Latin actor was Rita Moreno
How about "Ordinary People" And, I agree with 8:28. My favorite scene in Godfather 3 was seeing that talentless daughter tumble down the stairs dead, almost as touching as the death scene in Love Story
My client insists on receiving bad news immediately.
She threw it all away just to make me look ridiculous and a man in my position can not afford to be made to look ridiculous!
