IT NEVER ENDS

The cycle of CLE, trials, and Bench and Bar Mixers continues with another "come meet the judges y'all"  shing-ding at Pride and Joy, which is not a half-bad BBQ joint on Thursday, after work (or several hours after work for certain members of the judiciary)  Details below.

3:30-3:50 Thomas Aquinas Cobitz leaves Cobitz enough time to get on his horse and pick up all the Cobitz for Judge signs laying all around Miami. How can Cobitz stand in judgment in littering cases when his face is littered all over Miami Dade county? Hey Cobitz, if you truly care about serving the community, clean up after yourself!

Zaccor has been a class act at the BSAO. He's a welcome addition to the judiciary

For those going to this event, keep in mind there will be traffic near NW 7th Ave and 60th Street as Miami Police are conducting a checkpoint from 7pm to midnight. If you are going to drink, just take Uber. It's cheap and easy to use; just have your dirver avoid this area.

NW 7th Avenue and 60th Street? No hipsters or yuppies getting popped for DUI there. Targeting the brothers and sisters with no money to fight the case. Loads of DWLS arrests from child support, pot convictions and unpaid fines. Sigh.

I love when your voice gets high pitched and cracks and you sweat profusely and run from the podium. You lack character and I will see to your demise as a lawyer. Bet on it, tatoo.

5:02pm: Complete BS. If you don't like the why a license is suspended change the law by voting out the idiots that pass these laws to begin with and stop driving until it is (lots of other options available even in this commuter unfriendly county). But don't disregard the law and expect not to be sentenced under that law.

Cops need to target the rich drunks so that they will generate fees for the laywers they hire and the lawyers, in turn, will generate police overtime by requesting trials and depositions. Win-win for everybody.
