So off we go to Judge Blake's chambers. "What's that sign say? 'Due to budgetary cuts....blah blah blah."
So eventually we end up on the 9th floor in the clerk's office begging for a quarter to copy an a-form.
We don't begrudge the current budgetary crisis so severe that Blake et.al., can't spare a sheet of paper.
So what's the answer? We'd call the FACDL (Motto: "Don't call us....we'll call you when your dues are due") but what would they say? "Hi. You've reached the FACDL. If you've gotten this message, then we're in trial. Please leave you name, phone number, and credit card number for dues and we'll call you back as soon as we stop patting ourselves on the back for actually trying a case...." You get the idea.
So being the good capitalist we are, we are suggesting that some consortium of lawyers get together and lease a copier and put it in the second floor attorneys room and sell copies for 20-30 cents a pop.
CAN YOU READ RUMPOLE AT WORK?
It has come to our attention that certain state agencies "block" our humble blog.
We would like some definite answers on this distressing bit of news.
So if you are a PD, or an ASA, or a member of regional counsel, or a JA or a clerk, would you drop us a quick note and let us know who is and who is not blocking our blog.
We'll take it from there.

We'll take it from there. Ummm... sounds like a threat, could be a case for immediate injunction against you tuff guy.
Rump,
maybe if you would stop bashing the PDs office and reveal yourself (not as Rump) but as a decent PA who treats us young attorneys with a little respect, then one of us would have made a copy for you as a friendly gesture. Just a though Rump.
11:25 PM. My problem has always been with silent Charlie and sleepy Brummer before him. Not the young PDs who work in the office- who are the real heroes of the REGJB.
That being said, I do my best to give no one any respect. Ever.
Hi. I'm a County employee in the 111 building. They don't block you YET. Love ur blog. And I agree on the Jake and Vienna thing. But yipee that Ally is next!!!!

Why are you always dogging FACDL...you should have gone to the CLE last friday...they did a good job! Maybe if you went to the CLE they put on...you would consider paying your dues!!!!
I saw that CLE seminar: "Rock Stars of Criminal Law"
More like Barry Manalow singing "Mandy".
Rock stars? please.

Justice Building Blog is the Bomb...and as for Jake he picked the right girl don't hate.
Of course we block your trashy blog at the SAO.
And, you're fired.
PleAse post sleepy
No. You are not fired until you claim you are fired. Now, you are fired.
Looks like a Broward judge is in trouble with the JQC. Just bc she socialized ex parte with the persecutor whom was trying a death penalty case in front of her ( and of course she did sentence him to death.)
This would be a problem anywhere, but it shouldn't in Broweird. I didn't think the constitution or judicial canon of ethics applied up there. Very confused.
THE CAPTAIN REPORTS:
NEW ASSOCIATE ADMINSITRATIVE JUDGE OF THE CRIMINAL COURTS IS ....
Incoming Administrative Criminal Courts Judge Soto has NOT chosen any of the criminal court judges with senority to act as the new AAJ; (Scola, Jiminez, Lopez, Murphy, Rodriguez, Ward, etc.).

Cap Out ....
rather than put OJ's acquittal suit in a musuem, I suggest that Marsha Clark's underwear that she wore for the verdict be put instead, complete with the brown skid marks that came after the not guilty verdict.
