Congratulations to the N.Y. Giants for discovering the blue print to beating the lucky, overrated G.B. Packers. By clamping down on the Packers anemic running game and taking away the short passing game, the Giants forced Old Grey Beard to start throwing real N.F.L. passes, which he seems to have a problem doing these days (especially in inclemate weather). If you take away the busted coverage 90 yard touchdown pass to Driver, O.G.B. was 18 for 34 with 146 yards and 2 interceptions--not exactly Hall of Fame numbers.
The Giants probably did you Packer fans a favor by beating your team. Can you imagine what Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and Donte Stallworth (and Wes Welker) would do to the man on man coverage that Al "I like to cover big receivers" Harris and Charles "the human tackling dummy" Woodson were playing against the Giants? The Patriots could easily score 60 points against the Packers (and probably will against the Giants anyway).
So, Packer fans, enjoy your parallel universe in which your 39 year-old quarterback and Nick "I'm a crybaby and a cheapshot artist and proud of it" are going to lead your team back to the playoffs next year. Because, don't believe for a minute that O.G.B. won't be coming back next season. His ego and misplaced self-confidence won't let him retire until he is dragged from the field like Hector was dragged from the battlefields of Troy. I only hope I am watching the game in which this happens.
Thanks for the day off, G
INSPIRATIONAL!
With tears in my eye, I say thank you.
Wow! Very moving...
Let's us remember those words today and forever.
I have a dream that young african-american men will continue to benefit from a total lack of leadership in the black community by using gun violence to settle minor arguments, small debts, and illegal drug sale turf so that I and my defense bar brethren will continue to make a living defending blacks facing live in prison. I have a dream!
I have a dream that one day in the dark alleys of Rumpoles home that we may one day return to blogging unmoderated.
Let us dream.

rumpy,
what do you dream about???
Rumpole; I just woke up and had to share this nightmare I had. A black man was elected President. His first executive order, issued in the winter of 2009, was to order the Housing Department to provide emergency housing to all in the U.S., american or illegal alien. He freed up prison space by releasing several hundred thousand from prisons for non violent offenses and used the prisons to incarcerate illegal aliens in work programs for those habitually and illegally entering our country. He immediately withdrew 400,000 american troops from overseas military bases to signal to the world that our reign as the world superpower bully for the last 60 years is over. He had legislation submitted to congress to provide healthcare for all americans, jsut like congress and the military. the military has socialized medecine. He proposed a massive public works campaign to rebuild housing in the inner cities , particularly in the northeast where some buildings are over 100 years old in ny, chicago, baltimore, philly, boston etc. He pledged to attack violence in our schools and streets with gun buyback programs. there were other things like energy conservation. Then fortunately I woke up, saw that a 72 year old bitter war veteran expow who dropped bombs on vietnamese women and children in over 20 missions was the frontrunner to be the republican nomination, and I felt good and proud to be an american. Long live the nra and fortune 500. p.s . mlk was acommunist and womanizer, hoover had a giant fbi file on him.
I agree with you. It's racist crap.

The youtube segment was from a cartoon show, known as the Boondocks, a social satire of American politics, African American culture and race in the U.S. written by an African American cartoonist. The show itself was based off a comic strip and has been running for more than 2 years now, even having been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series at the NAACP Image Awards.
The clip was taken from an episode named Return of the King, which aired on MLK day, in 2006. It did draw some criticism from Al Sharpton at the time, because of King's use of the n-word in the episode, but the episode was well received and critics have continued to praise the show overall. The show has been deemed highly left-wing.
The episode itself won the prestigious distinction of winning a Peabody Award (oldest form of honors known in electronic media).
The show rarely ever pulls punches saying some tough things which people may not always want to hear.
This is your blog. But shockingly, in light of this latest deletion, censorship on this blog has hit a new low. Freedom of expression is truly dead.
