HOW DO YOU GET TO THE JUSTICE BUILDING?

The simple answer used to be "get arrested" and then corrections would take you.
But not anymore. We swear we're not making this up:  yesterday Dade County Corrections GOT LOST on the way to the REGJB.

In the trial over the alleged death of Rilya Wilson, this is what Ace Herald Reporter David Ovalle tweeted Thursday morning:

Corrections van got lost transporting jailhouse witness in trial. Judge: "How is that possible in this universe?"

The Judge in question was the usually unflappable Marisa Tinkler-Mendez.

Next up: Miami Beach goes missing.

Good Friday morning. Today is the fourth day of 2013. This warm weather is expected to continue through next week.

How many corrections officers does it take to transport your client to the REGJB?
Three. One to drive, one to call for directions when lost, and one to beat your client while s/he's handcuffed.

So what's the deal- can a Judge "friend" a lawyer who practices before them on Facebook or not? Can they join their Google+ circle? Can they tweet or text? We're confused.

See You In Court next week.

I thinK because of my affinity for CJ Moreno and the disgusting way Saban handled his tenure as HC with the Fins, I am rooting for the Golden Domers.

Sorry Rump,

Whether you like the SEC, ACC, PAC 12, or any other football conference or team, you DO NOT root for Notre Dame.

Although hatred runs deep among all fans of UM, FSU and Florida, the tie that should bind us in the Sunshine State is the hatred for Notre Dame. Notre Dame is lots of hype and no championships to remember unless you're 85 years old. The most overrated football team in history.

As far as Saban goes, let it go with regard to how he left. He was miserable here and it just wasn't going to work out. No big whoop.

Corrections didn't loose Lunceford we all know that. The woman is so belligerent that she suffered what is the standard retaliatory missing the bus or "getting lost".

What Mr. Matters who is doing an exceptional job by the way should point out in his summation that informants get cart blanche when cooperating and are not treated adversely as the state has allowed her to mislead the court. It is her own belligerent behavior and partly lazy, barely literate and incompetent corrections staff.

Keep up the good work Mr. Matters your NG is around the corner. Scott way to go with the case law your an animal.

FYI
Criminal Division Administrative Judge, Berdy Soto is "All IN"for Chief Judge Race.

I think the last time a female judge ran for chief judge was in the 70's with Judge Rhea Grossman.
I believe Ed Cowart beat her.
