Incredibly, Bolts was a typo and I really meant Colts. You, understandably, thought I meant the Chargers as that is their nickname. Either way I lose as I picked the Chargers in week three.
Since Lurvey's ill-begotten and putative pick of the the Colts was destined to failure, his typo doesn't really factor into the equation, at least in this universe.
WEEK SIX: FINAL TWO:
Michael Feiler picks the Baltimore Ravens. Clayton Kaeiser picks the J...E....T...S on Monday night football. Good luck gentleman and congratulations.
A few plays today: take the under 50 in the Giants/Bills matchup and while you're at it give the three and take the Giants as both teams regress to the mean- Buffalo isn't quite as good as their record indicates and the Giants aren't quite as bad.
Under 51 Carolina at Atlanta and under 54 Dallas at Cheaters.
Good luck all.

Lurvey does a GIANT and public Shumie Time on his suicide pool!!! Remember the old trial lawyers' adage- it's the Shumie you don't know that will get you every time.
I'm not sure that qualifies as a Shumie. It's more like a Milton, named in honor of the most hapless ASA to ever grace the REGJB: Myron Milton.
Or it could be a Gainor, after the colossal failure of one Ronald Gainor to check that discovery went out, thus all new ASAs are taught to Gainor their files.
I would aver that in certain context it is all together appropriate to call Lurvey's mishap a Shumie. However before I make that argument I hereby submit that in the future anyone who picks a team they have already picked, especially when it is done through a typo, commits " A LURVEY". I think the name will stick.
I would argue that if Lurvey made his typo in haste because he was about to go play golf or go on a boat that his error qualifies as a Shumie in that his mistake was driven by a desire to do something even more enjoyable. One of the principles of Shumie Time however is to do your work quickly, but in an excellent fashion- to use your time in a efficient manner. Shumie Time does not condone stupid mistakes made in haste. Thus the more I consider this, the more I think it is not Shumie Time.
You people are fools. It is a sin to waste your time this way. Why don't you do something valuable like watch Meet the Press, read the NY Times, go for a run, help build a house with Habitat for Humanity. Anything but this insipid discussion.
While I'm thinking about it, I know for a fact my condo needs to hire two groundkeepers and three maintenance men. Maybe people should look for work instead of occupying Wall Street.

OCCCRC is back in the news. Hopefully the governor will take the same approach that he did with Miami and expedite these interviews. It's a disaster over there and new leadership needs to be implemented ASAP!
While you think about it, Angry Cu(rl)(y), grab a lawnmower and do something positive like mowing the grass in your condo's grounds.
The perfect political views go something like this
Low Taxes- no more then 33 percent income tax
Limited government
Drill in Alaska
Pro Choice
Affirmative action for Blacks and American Indians only
Legalize it
Crush the school board union
I believe that to "Lurvey" is to commit a small excusable error, that no one really cares about, except probably the one who committed the error.
Therefore, saying you "Lurveyed" too quickly on your girlfriend last night is appropriate as long as you apologize.
Skeet skeet skeet.
Blog jumped the shark. No wonder Rump wants to call it quits. Angry Gurl is annoying and as big a loser as anyone because she reads and posts on the blog. I don't care about anything "shumie" related. I don't care about a fictitious cigar shop. Every 6 month's I don't care about the "christie's steakhouse" incident. The 007 of DUIs handles 6 DUIs a year.
The Cigar shop is real. Ask Shumie himself. He will tell you. Don't know about the Christies business.
LURVEY
n: successful south florida defense attorney; nice guy;
v: a bonehead play or move resulting in immediate disqualification, usually in an on-line game and usually involving a typographical error. e,g., "He was playing a suicide pool and sent in a team he had already picked and did a Lurvey." or "He was playing poker on line and Lurveyd out of the tournament when he hit the all-in button by mistake when he meant to fold."
@5:14-- Here, here!
The prosecutor tried a beautiful case. But rested before establishing venue. What a Lurvey that was!
The Republicans won the mid-term elections but then blew it with a Lurvey by screwing around with the debt ceiling all summer.
Rumpole needs to stop with twitter and the blog and go forward with facebook everyone is on facebook and it's the new blog of yesterday.
He Lurveyed by forgetting to take his vitamin C and got scurvey.
