GOILS

Fresh from my embarrassing defeat at the hands of a goil, (She picked the cowpokes and I agreed to take Falcons to teach her lesson, now I owe her a Starbucks card) here are my real picks- the ones I have thought about for at least five minutes- the ones I am hitting about 80% on all year-documented.

WE PICK THE TOUGHS ONES

That’s why we say take INDY at home -3, no problem over the Bengals. Over 50 is a bit of a problem. We are leaning under, but stay away.

Take the Giants at home -6 over the Eagles; take the under 44 as well.

Love the over 35 in the Fins/Bills game; while you’re at it take the dog/ Fins + 1.5.

Kinda like the defending/fading champs- Take the road Steelers +3 over the disappointing Carolina Panthers.

Toots: Email me your work address and voila, a Starbucks card will arrive.

Anybody really trying cases the next two weeks?

In reading the comments yesterday, am I to understand that the DBR forced the Broward Blog to take down a reprint?

Geeze- they are begging me to post their stuff. Nice people-why would they do that?

PS That Chief Judge up North- what a party guy.

"...the home dog Fins"? Doesn't that imply that the Fins are playing at home? Home as in the Stadium f/k/a Joe Robbie Stadium?

The Guy who wrote "Don't sweat the small stuff" collapsed and died yesterday on an airplane at age 45.

Who says the Universe doesn"t have a peverse sense of humor?

Tried one last week north of the border and trying one tomorrow back home. These young Judges are killing me. Too much energy.

IF Penguin Polly, AKS David Young had been honest with his friend Gina Locke N' Load, about not staying on the local bench, she might be getting ready to be sworn in rather than ??????????

Apparently since the DBR is now an official publication used by the Broward Court, but they weren't at the time the article critical of the Chief Judge was originally written, now the Broward Court is able to exert more influence on them as expressing displeasure over that old article. Of course, DBR doesn't word it as a censure, they used some roundabout way of saying why they had to withdraw the permission to use the article.

Rumpole just for fun reprint the entire story in a post.

lets see if Ross has the pull to knock it off your web site.

All bets as to the sucess of Rumpole not being sued by DBR end at 6pm monday.

We could allow the broward blog to link to your post.

When you stated that you liked the fins over 35, were you acting on the assumption that the Fins were actually going to contribute to the scoring total?

Yes= These fins are driving me nuts. I call one big upset for them earlier this year, and then pick another winner, and then for the last four weeks everytime I leave them alone they win. Everytime I pick them, they lose.

2-0 with Steeler picks this year. Giants still close.

to the robed readers. a headsup for your brother judge jose rodriguz who now welds his gavel at 73 west flagler. he should be advised that he wins no points from any attorney by setting sua sponte "case management" hearings at 8 am. his careet will be short lived if he keeps up this nonsense.
