He worked hard all year just wanted a few weeks alone. But his old lady's into modeling,She can't stay away from the phone. Besides she bitches about the mosquitoes.
She says "Down there there is nothing to do" Her goddamn phone never stops ringing. He'll try the service in a day maybe two.

Well, he's on his third drink before the wheels of the plane leave the ground. Making points with the stewardess climbing over Long Island Sound. She's also spending some time on the island.
Too much city madness gives her the blues. They make a date to go dancing and dining, seems neither has that much to lose.

The weather is here I wish you were beautiful. My thoughts aren't too clear but don't run away
My girlfriend's a bore, my job is too dutiful. Hell, nobody's perfect would you like to play
I feel together today.

Well now that was just the start of
a well-deserved over due binge.
Meanwhile back in the city certain
people are starting to cringe. His lawyers are calling his parents
His girlfriend doesn't know what to think. His partners are studying their options. He's just singing and ordering drinks.

The weather is here I wish you were beautiful. The skies are too clear life's easy today. The beer is too cold, the daiquiri's too fruitful. There's no place like home when it's this far away. I don't care what they say.

He's going back to New York pack it up and let everyone know
It was something that he should have done such a long time ago
Still time to start a new life in the palm trees. Billy Clyde wasn't insane And it doesn't work out there'll never be any doubt
That the pleas.

Old Rump, looks like NC--Cape Hatteras?

The mere fact I admitted to being away, which I rarely do is enough. It's the Cape and that's all I'll say (although these Kennedys and Lawfords and Smiths are certainly annoying this time of year. They really should keep a better handle on all these people running around with footballs. )

THE CAPTAIN REPORTS:

You'll want to read this one Rumpole.

I don't know how he did it, but the Dade County Elections Department is reporting that one DARRIN E. MCGILLIS has filed campaign papers to run in Group 2 for County Court Judge.

Group 2 is presently occupied by Mary Jo Francis and she was re-elected in 2006 and will not stand for relection again until 2012.

Of course, that is just one problem; is Darrin McGillis even an attorney? Oh yeah, the Elections Commission also is reporting that he filed to run as a Democrat. Only problem with that is that all races are Non Partisan.

We'll keep you all up to date on this breaking news.....

Why can't I sleep late on vacation? I will not apologize to the TM, as this blog is mine, and due process is not applicable. He said a horrible thing about a sick old woman and he is crud in my opinion. Plus he couldn't shine her shoes based on her accomplishments versus his. I banned him for a day and he picked up his toys in a snit and left. Good riddance.

Trialmaster is an ass. Good riddance.

Rump, while you may be laying on a beach up north, the same old things keep happening here. Everybody's favorite South Beach aging single lawyer- Kenny Weisman- was escorted out of Nobu last night and asked not to return. It seems Nobu served the last servings of Kenny's favorite Toro Tuna to Matt Damon and Charlie Sheen and a table of models. When Kenny was told this, he caused a scene, yelling "what do they have that I don't?" When he was told "more money and better looks" he was heard to yell that he had a Porsche before he was escorted out of the restaurant.

Hows the Lobster in Cape Cod?

Anonymous said...

11:48, McGillis is running for county clerk, not judge, but based on your ability to read, I'd stick to the plans to leave.

Anonymous said...

Rumpola, the Weisman story is absolutely true. I was in Nobu with Alan Postman and the Q developing plans for a powerhouse law firm (don't even begin to ask what the bill was) and we saw everything. He threw an huge fit when he didn't get his Toro Tuna. I was embarassed and turned away when they were dragging him out and he started calling my name.

The trialmaster is very upset at the words of hate you have directed towards him.

all those who have bob levy on the payroll will win.

Hey RFB can you believe this guy? What a Jamoke. Trying to be funny. You know a poll of blog readers found 4 out of 5 want Blecher banned and to keep me and you. Think Rumpolaia will do it?

Rumpole said...

wrong idiot. Stop being so sensitive. it wasn't about you TM.

Rumpole said...

Listen, I explained why I will not post that crap. If you want a further explanation send me an email with an address I can respond to. But otherwise, you're wasting your time as I am the only one reading it. Do you really think your guess is correct? There are other issues at work here.

Anonymous said...

Velis, Sanchez-Llorenz, and Millan all had Bob Levy last time and lost horribly. Why they would waste all that $$ again is beyond me. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Apparently, these candidates don't know that addage. And they also don't know I'll vote against them just because they give their $ to Levy and Lorenzo.

I was enjoying an afternoon of fun at Boomers when my oldest son spotted Phil R being escorted out by security. It turns out he caused quite a ruckus at the bumper boats. He became enraged over being squirted with water by a ten year old. He then jumped into the water and began splashing all the children in bumper boats. It turns out that he was already on "Boomers Probation" for an incident on the miniature golf course involving the windmill hole.

Rumpole. Sort of a new prosecutor here. Don't know many people. Don't have any family. Very lonely this weekend. I actually enjoy work, as it gives me a chance to interact with people. Weekends are lonely and holiday weekends the worst. Oh- and I went to Michigan so you can imagine how bad I feel. Any advice?

Lonely ASA.

Did anyone recognize the guy streaking across the field at the UM game ? My two boys alerted me that it was none other than our very own Blecher in the buff during the Halftime festivities. He got up to midfield only to receive a brutal clothesline tackle by the Ibis. Priceless

Rumpole, I can never let labor day pass without recalling the infamous 1989 Labor Day "Christy's incident". The court records are sealed for 20 years, which means only two more years until we get the real story, but all the public knows is that it involved Shumie, a Cigar, some airborn mashed potatos and a glass of wine ovver somebody's head. Only two more years until the full incident can be revealed and the stay away order expires.

I'm waiting at the airport in Bordeaux, ready to get home, though I'd rather not have to leave at all. I hate having to labor for a living.

Anonymous said...

Rump, allow me to correct 2:31. The infamous "Christy's incident" of 89 did indeed involve Shumie and a cigar. My understanding was that it was an airborn pecan crusted snapper. The crime scene report also noted the victims were splattered with a mango chutney.

When was the last time Cynamon tried a case? If she's qualified, why has she been law clerk for the past 15 years? How many of her co-workers have moved on to the real-world and actually practiced law? Why couldn't she make the transition to the AG's office.

Mc Guillis will get elected because Harvey Ruvin's buffoons Brummer screwed him by accepting his Subpoena. Hello!

Also, since Mc Guillis did all the illegal work for Leifman, Faber, McWhorter, B. Miller and Bob Levy they will support him and help him get elected.

To bad Mc Guillis is not running for State Attorney against Kentucky Fried Rundle or Sleepy Brummer.

Rumpole said...

After all this time moron, don't you think I can spot your comments a mile away? Looking for it? Sorry- I caught ya. Again. Give it up and go sue somebody jackass.

If we really band together, we can make this blog all Shumie and the Q, all the time.

If you people don't stop talking about people I do not know- making me feel inadequate and constantly rubbing in my face that I am not a lawyer, I will sue every last one of you. You can count on it.

This email is for the Ethics Commission.

Check where Mcgillis obtained the monies to do that election mailer. I mean, a man without a job cannot possibly pay over $10K for a mailer that aims at destroying the candidates that did not pay Bob Levy. Someone paid for that and that my friends is a criminal, JQC and Ethics investigations.

Does someone care? Maybe Harvey Ruvin? Maybe not? We all know that SPIRIT is a ongoing crime. Harvey needs to go, but Mcgillis is not the person to replace him.

Why is SPIRIT an ongoing crime?
