Re: Larry Schwartz
There's a saying that goes something like this: If you go after the king, you must kill him. Otherwise he re-emerges far worse than before. Look at Hugo Chavez. Miami bar, are you ready for a stronger, cockier, more obnoxious Larry Schwartz?

You are quoting from The Prince by Machiavelli: If you would strike at the King, Kill Him.

Thanks Rumps for the assist. The point remains the same. Larry Schwartz will be a nightmare.

RE: Schwartz's win: To paraphrase a Judge in the REGJB:

For all those anonymous comments over the past 2 months, trumpeting the rascist idea that anyone with an hispanic surname is a sure winner in this town, today's election results show that Miami-Dade has a far more sophisticated electorate than you ever imagined. Whether you like the results or not, no ethnic group succeeded based on surname. I guess we learned today that the tune actually goes like this: "Migna will still be just Migna on January 3 ..."
