Back and forth we go, CK and I, locked in a titanic struggle for blog supremacy of football. This week CK’s email comes with a warning that his picked has been pre-ordained by the lord himself. CK (who has a bunch of great teams in the bag, like the Cheaters) forgoes the easy pick and picks the Redskins over the Cardinals.
Rumpole has two ripe plumps to pick from: New Orleans at home over the Falcons, or Da Bengals at home over the hapless J..E…T…S… jetsjetsjets. Rumpole goes to the Big Easy for a hopefully easy win. New Orleans is Rumpole’s suicide pick.
Baltimore at Buffalo- under 35 is the way to go with this match up between a rookie QB and a vicious Baltimore D.
It was sometime around this time last year when the undefeated Bears came marching into town and Rumpole shocked the world by writing on the blog the day before the game, that you could take the points and stuff them because the Fins would win the game outright.
Now comes the undefeated Cheaters storming into town facing the win less, Chris Chamber-less, Trent Green –Less, Miami Dolphins. And will Rumpole shock the world again? Check down below to see.
Tampa Bay rolls into D-Town and takes on the Lions, and once again this week, we like the under 43.
Denver is a home dog this week. And you can go broke betting against home dogs. The Steelers roll into town this week coming off a bye week, and playing great football. The Steelers were one team on the rebound that we missed earlier in the season. However, it’s never too late to jump on the bandwagon. Steelers -3.
See You Tomorrow, and without bragging, may we just say, if you have the opportunity to have a rich client fly you to San Fran, and entertain you for a few days while you make a criminal matter shrink if not disappear, I strongly suggest you accept the offer. Two words: Dim Sum…ahhhh.
PS: No way the Fins win this one. But we like the under 51.
When you see something that is not right, not fair, find a way to get in the way and cause trouble. Congressman John Lewis

YAHOO SPORTS REPORTS:
Encouraging news as the Miami Dolphins rebuild, retool or whatever they are calling it: Not only will they have three picks in the first two rounds of April's draft, but they will enter the offseason with more than $20 million in cap space.
According to NFL data, Miami is projected to be $31.4 million under the salary cap, which the league expects will be $116 million. But we are told the Dolphins' cap space actually will be closer to $20 million after factoring in incentives and tenders for exclusive and restricted free agents.
Additional cap space can be created other
Sitting here at the game tucked away in a luxury suite away from hoy poloi I am pondering whether the Cheaters are this good or the Fins this bad. I am inclined to say the Cheaters are this good. Which is bad news for the Colts.
If this was a fight they'd stop it. The Dolphins are the Dwayne Bobbick of the NFL The Chuck Wepners. He was the Bayone bleeder they are the Biscayne bleeders. This is awful. Oh the humanity.
The crowd is getting ugly. I hope our supply of stone crab claws holds out until we can safely make it to the Limo.
Win with Baltimore/Buffalo under 35 (total was 33). Win with Tampa/Detroit under 43(total was 39) and "win" with Cheaters under 51 (they only scored 49). My lord what a shelacking! This Evil Genuis Belichick must be stopped. I know the team that can stop them. It's coming in December. Otherwise, the Cheaters are going to march like Sherman through Georgia and burn their way to a super bowl victory.
You can start breathing now CK. Akers missed the field goal.
Rumpole- about a dozen UM law students here. We read you every day. You are hysterical, even though half the time we don't know the judges you are skewering. That thing with the naked lawyer in Broward was priceless. Plus, for a bunch of guys who have to watch their money, your football picks help. Just to let you know you are a big hit on campus.
FROM THE BBC- This is a headline that you would expect in Miami:
Monkeys kill Delhi deputy mayor
Delhi has long struggled to cope with the marauding monkeys
The deputy mayor of the Indian capital Delhi died on Sunday after being attacked by a horde of wild monkeys.
SS Bajwa suffered serious head injuries when he fell from the first-floor terrace of his home on Saturday morning trying to fight off the monkeys.
The city has long struggled to counter its plague of monkeys, which invade government complexes and temples, snatch food and scare passers-by.
The High Court demanded the city find an answer to the problem last year.
Solution elusive
One approach has been to train bands of larger, more ferocious langur monkeys to go after the smaller groups of Rhesus macaques.
The city has also employed monkey catchers to round them up so they can be moved to forests.
But the problem has persisted.
Captain
Are you a Dem, Rep or Independent?
Are you latin black or white?
What would you bring to the table if you were elected Public Defender?
Would you keep Warren? If yes would you make him remove the silly bow tie?
Would you run under the name Captain?
Too those monkeys don't taste good...
Sounds like someone should open a chinese restaurant in New Delhi!
