The Dolphin stink. Everywhere. At home. On the road. No guarantee they won't add a loss over the bye week.
Are You Ready To Be An Idiot? A real looney...?
Hank Williams lost his mind for a moment and on Fox News compared Obama and Boehner to Hitler and Netanyahu and as a result ESPN didn't run the "are you ready for some football" opening Monday night before MNF.
The NBA season is in jeopardy. (yawn).
3rd DCA doings:

See You In Court.
First!!! Guarantee for a great day now.
ReplyDeleteThat was the mistake Hank made...invoking the name Hitler for something. Ol' Hank made the mistake of not being politically correct. Most of us know how terrible Hitler was, but the I will not tolerate his name being invoked to compare him to anyone. George Bodenheimer (a Jew), is the head of ESPN, and he just couldn't stand Hank referencing Hitler in his interview with those talking heads. When you control the media and just about everything else in the world, you have the ability to punish. If Hank Williams was a corporate lawyer from Harvard and made these comments, maybe we take a look at them. Williams is not the sharpest knife in the drawer and didn't give much thought to his comment...just the first thing that came to his mind to compare. Get over it Bodenheimer, and make sure Hank is back next week to pump up the fans with his...Are you ready for some football.
ReplyDeleteRump, do you have a crush on DOM?
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't calling Obama Hitler....nor Boehner. Still, I always dislike invoking Hitler for anything. That said, it wasn't hate speech, it was free speech.
ReplyDeleteBTW-- The left wing is still making fun of Bush...that's OK...no one is silenced or condemned for that. It is so sad that no one is allowed to criticize Obama. We have no way of knowing how the public feel about Obama because any negative comments about the Almighty are always censored. Only the left are allowed "free speech".
I don't get it.... why does Hank Williams think Boehner is like Hitler?
ReplyDeleteThe Captain Reports:
ReplyDeleteIt's ZENOBI .....
Congrats to our friend and colleague Eugene 'Geno' Zenobi who was appointed today as the next Director of the OCCCRC.
CAP OUT ....
3:38, I was thinking the same thing. Does Rumpole have a crush on DOM? I would venture to say yes.
ReplyDeleteI'll drink to that, but only during work hours!
ReplyDeleteHey 3:45,
ReplyDeleteMaybe if the right wing levied some substantive criticism of Obama questioning his economic policies, deficit spending or foreign policy, it would get more media play. Simply equating him with Hitler and calling him the enemy are hardly comments worth noting. Go whine somewhere else like Foxnation.
Man acquitted in fatal shooting
ReplyDeleteJurors late Monday acquitted a Miami man accused of killing a man and wounding another in a downtown nightclub during a hip-hop party.
Wilton Jackson, 25, had been accused of fatally shooting Darnell Parker, and wounding another man during a melee inside Club Studio A, 66 NE 11th St., in 2008.
Defense attorney Richard Della Ferra said he poked holes in the stories and credibility of three prison inmates who implicated Jackson. And a fourth witness identified the shooter as being shorter and stockier than Jackson, he said.
