IF IT IS FRIDAY

If it is Friday in America 2025

Then the president is seeking to defund NPR and PBS.

Why does he hate big bird and the Cookie Monster ?

No better intellectual and comprehensive end of the year best of music, film and books then from NPR Also, their “ tiny desk” concerts are among the best live musical series MAGA needs to appreciate the wonderful value of art and culture

NPR and PBS aren't news stations, they are Democrat propaganda. Did you see Katherine Maher the head of NPR get grilled in front of congress when they showed her her own tweets from 2020 when BLM was rioting and burning down cities? Yea, defund it and let the free market decide if those great "journalists" actually have an audience.

CBS 60 minutes received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Editing Interview of Kamala Harris. Cannot make this stuff up. Very funny and embarrassing. Democrat oligarchy.

Sesame Street has been parodying Trump for years and he's not really the type to take a joke

I hope the whole MAGA movement is not made up of illogical philistines. For purposes of learning about the best of arts and culture, NPR's end of the year, "best of" lists for music, films, TV and books is the absolute finest way for a purveyor of the arts to learn what is out there. Their "Tiny Desk" concerts , https://www.npr.org/series/tiny-desk-concerts/, are among the best of live musical performances. Just as there must be a separation of Church and State, Culture must be separated from State as well. The arts constitutes a facet on how life can be beautiful !

RUMPOLE - I am a decent kind human being and a proud American.

I love the disruption that President Trump is forging forward with. Our country went to far and extremely out of control with lawlessness under past presidents. And especially in cities controlled by radical left socialist democratic mayors. It got ridiculous - and dangerous.

I have no problem with the Supreme Court defining rule making, separation of powers, due process, etc.

I believe we are on the right course back toward a “centrist” middle government post Trump. Financially conservative. No waste. No tolerance for extremist left views on societal values.

I don’t even have an “abortion problem.” Let the voters of each state decide. Same as guns and education. Let those state legislators be responsible for their votes and reelection based upon their views. We are a democracy and a government republic based upon a Constitution.

For goodness sakes - our Supreme Court has a huge responsibility going forward. With 134 District Court injunctions limiting Executive Action - that is a national crisis until each matter is defined and sorted out by a set of rules and standards and Supreme Court analysis based upon THEIR interpretation of the Constitution.

Pray for us. Our future is truly going to be determined in the next 6 months.

Thoughts? Do you agree RUMPOLE?

I am a music and movie buff. There are 20 platforms that I either subscribe to or read and listen to for free. Not one of them is funded by the government.

It’s I don’t give a fuck Friday brought to you by the SAO. Where the SAO doesn’t give a fuck.

I’m jealous too. His hair is magnificent.

The Democrats have been pushing their "woke culture" via these platforms. If they only did those objective activities then ok, but they don't so cut it.

NPR is left wing trash. Let you left wing trash purveyors pay for all of it. Scotty: There is a difference between art and propaganda.

Congratulations your an idiot

This conversation reminds me of the John McCain funeral. People would say how senator McCain was an honest patriot and the morons at MAGA would complain that the comments were intended to insult Trump. Scholarly and intelligent content, like math, is what it is. Remember when these geniuses were saying that Arab math (algebra) should be deleted from curriculums because it was not American math. There is a difference between art and propaganda but you need some basic intelligence to discern it.

This is not fair. It was Hillary's turn in 2016, and Kamala's turn in 2024. Bad Orange Man is keeping poor defenseless woman from their entitled public office. Michelle O can splain it to y'all. She lived under the thumb of her oppressor barack HUSSEIN obama for 8 years in the White House, and had to pay high prices for stuff. ThE hOrRor mUsT ENd!

(And can we change the name White House to the People's House?)

7:44 The reason you guys keep picking losers is because you are such elitists. I gather your comment is that anyone that supports Trump cannot discern the difference between art and propaganda. I think some can without holding their pinky fingers up when they are sipping tea.

You call yourself a “decent, kind American” while praising a man who lied his way through four years, tried to overturn an election, and encouraged an attack on the Capitol. That’s not decency — that’s delusion.

“Disruption”? Trump didn’t disrupt — he trashes norms, ignores laws and court orders, and made everything about himself. He doesn’t care about the Constitution — he cares about power, loyalty, and staying out of prison.

You talk about lawlessness under “radical left mayors” — yet ignore the corruption, indictments, and outright criminal behavior tied to the guy you worship and those around him. Red states have some of the worst crime, poverty, and education stats in the country. Your blame game is lazy and fact-free.

You say you’re fine with states deciding abortion and guns — but backed a guy who tried to bully states into tossing out their election results. You either believe in states’ rights or you don’t. You can’t flip that switch when it’s politically convenient. -- Pick a lane!

The Supreme Court? The dark money funded Supreme Court with rushed appointments and partisan rulings. The same SCOTUS that ruled presidents are immune from prosecution? Don’t pretend it’s some sacred, untouchable institution just because it leans your way.

And “centrist government”? Give me a break. Trump is no centrist. He’s a chaos machine fueled by rage, ego and power. He doesn’t believe in small government — he believes in using government to punish enemies and to enrich and protect himself.

Pray for us? I will pray for you and the rest of MAGA to wake up. Read something besides Facebook memes, 'Truth' social and Fox News talking points. If you actually gave a shit about democracy, you’d be worried about the fact that the biggest threat to it is the guy you’re cheering for

Anybody who calls the Democratic party the "Democrat" party is a mindless moron. Rush is dead.

Art and culture are for libtards. MAGA don't read propaganda so we don't need no stinking art or left-wing "culture."

The man posts AI art of himself with surging muscles and a red lightsaber on the @WhiteHouse Twitter account to celebrate a Star Wars “holiday.” Are we really asking for nuanced takes on art from this guy?

It’s fine. Justice will find us all, in the end.
