It's 2025. The Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020 was quickly subsumed by the Great BirdFlu2 Pandemic of 2022 in which 70% of all avian life on the planet was killed. In 2023 and 2024 the BirdFlu2 began to jump species, first attacking Swine, and then Humans. In 2025, at the behest of President Eric Trump with support from Vice President Jenna Bush, Congress passed sweeping public health laws in what became known as the Anti Sneezing Sessions (ASS). Attorney General Jared Kushner devoted many resources of the federal government to enforcement, as Secretary of State Ivanka Trump negotiated the Territorial Regulations Under Multinational Public Sneezing (TRUMPS). The states soon followed, and this is the first part of one of tens of thousands of what were to be called "Sneeze Trials" that filled the dockets of the courts for many years.
