LURVEY AND PORTA TO THE RESCUE

How many people does it take to rescue a kitten?

Two lawyers, one FHP Trooper, and one good samaritan tow truck driver.

Check out the video of REGJB regulars Dan Lurvey and Bo Porta rescuing a kitten that somehow ran up into Lurvey's car engine when he stopped at an intersection.

Well done gentleman. Dan needs to take the catnip out of the catalytic converter.

PD Economic woes make the NY Times.

Silent Charlie and Jay Kolsky (the hardest working man in the REGJB) aren't the only PDs trying to refuse appointments because of caseloads and money.

+100. That's how we're starting the season with a nice under win on the Thursday night game. Assuming Mr. Markus has followed through on his much publicized plan to merely bet the other way on our picks, he's down a 100 rule 29s.

The state of indigent defense all over the country is in jeopardy. That's what happens when you fund constitutionally guaranteed rights with property tax determined budgets. And, it will get worse: because in times when teachers are being laid off, who really cares about representation of "criminals"?

Our Constitutional guarantees are being disintegrated by the minute in this recession. And, nobody but the few who actually do this type of work, care.

I AM NOT 1-1. I DID NOT TAKE THE VIKES AND THE POINTS. RE-READ THE POST. I SAID IT WAS A FUN BET. BUT MY OFFICIAL BET IS CLEARLY HIGHLIGHTED AS THE UNDER AND ONLY THE UNDER.

I did not and will not post comments speculating on whether certain judges and lawyers hit their children with baseball bats.

Love pimping in the Saab/Chrysler Seabring...straight up style baby.

Amazing. It took a tow truck driver to show two Miami attorneys how to get a little pussy.

Anonymous said...

Yeah....I believe that. It was a SETUP from the get go.

OH, a little pussy cat just HAPPENED to get into Lurvey's car

AND

a TV just HAPPENED TO BE NEARBY.

Right. And PA is headed for the 3rd DCA too.

Swervy curvey Lurvey strikes again. Marketing genius.

Lurvey was late to court in Broward, thank goodness the TV camera guy showed up as promised.
