NOT TO BRAG BUT

WE WON EVERY SUPER BOWL PREDICTION WE MADE!

We won our guaranteed super bowl coin toss lock. We picked the first team to score and how (Colts, fg). We picked the under. And most importantly we told you to take the Saints, forget the points and take the odds because the Saints as underdogs would win outright.

We swept the board. We said the final score would be 28-17 and the final score was 31-17. Not bad at all.

And while we're bragging, we cleaned up at this neat little resort outside of Vegas that had these hand held machines that allowed us to bet on every play. We got almost 2-1 on our Saints bet without points (+195 to be exact) and we really hit the jackpot when we bet the Colts drive in the 4th quarter when they were down 24-17 with 5:42 left would end in a pick 6. It paid 220-1 and we threw a 100 on it, so you do the math!!! (Biggest score we've ever had sports wise).

Yup, it was one of those days we could not lose. (Except pounds. A morning work out. A protein shake and no chicken wings, pizza or beer. And somehow we still enjoyed the game.) Some organization called the Calorie Control Panel says Americans will eat 11.2 million pounds of potato chips, 8.2 million pounds of tortilla chips, 4.3 million pounds of pretzels, 3.8 million pounds of popcorn and 2.5 million pounds of nuts.

Calories? Somewhere around 100 billion from those crunchy snacks alone. Click here and scroll down to the paragraph.

Not us though. Heading home happy, healthy and wealthy.

No more football blogging?

Query: A fetching young woman spent the better part of twenty minutes last week complaining that while she loved reading the blog she hated the weekends when all the talk was Football talk. She further stated that she felt cheated because it was on the weekends when she had time to contribute to discussions on issues that concerned her.

Now while this is our blog, and while we love football, we're willing to discuss the issue for next year.

Football or no football picks next year?

MORE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ARRESTS FOR THE NFL.
Former NFL star Warren Sapp was arrested on a DV rap Saturday night and missed the Super Bowl. (See yesterday's post.)

Now the Herald reports here that Dolphins defensive tackle Tony McDaniel was arrested on a DV rap Saturday night in Browierd outside of his home.

Tough week for NFL players and their girlfriends.

Heading home and counting our cash. See you in court with a big smile and a smaller waist line.

I am impressed. Very impressed. And who ever said gambling is cancer on society. Here is another long shot. The Colts have played in four super bowls, all of them in Miami. I don't think there is any other team that can claim four SB's in one city.

NFC has won last twelve coin tosses. I predicted that back in '98.
