Rather, I thought that others may have mistakenly thought Frank was dead and wanted to tell them he was very much alive.

ReplyDeletenot exactly a coup, but governor rule imposed because of alleged corruption of the local officials.
ReplyDeleteThat was not a coup. Britain just removed the corrupt local government and imposed direct rule from the British governor till things are straightened up.
ReplyDeleteIt's just like if the State got tired of the corruption in Miami-Dade County and suspended the home rule charter with a mayor appointed by Charlie Crist.
