OBAMA TAKES OHIO. First Republican state to fall to Obama. And that's a wrap folks. Ohio was the difference in 2004. Kerry would be running for re-election if Bush/Rove didn't steal the vote in Ohio in 2004. Look at the Map- what Democratic states that total more than 20 electoral votes is McCain close to winning? None. And Iowa and Colorado and New Mexico haven't been called yet, and they will all turn from Republican in 2004 to Obama in 2008. Barak Obama is the 44th President of the United States. Book it. It's over.
15 states close at 9PM, including Colorado and New Mexico both of which will be one of the first Republican states to flip to Obama.
OBAMA WINS: Rhode Island; Michigan; Wisconsin; Minnesota; New York; Obama at 174. Less than 100 to go for the presidency.
MCCAIN WINS Wyoming; North Dakota (bit of a surprise to us) Texas; Oklahoma; West Virginia.
FLORIDA: 52% of the vote has been counted: Obama clinging to an almost 200K lead, but it's shrinking. BUT: Duval county has not fully reported and Obama was in JAX twice in last week. You will remember Bush/Rove stole Florida by getting a Judge to throw out about 26,000 votes in Duval County in 2000. Not this time.
4th SENATE PICKUP FOR DEMOCRATS: TOM UDALL WINS SENATE RACE IN NEW MEXICO
Someone should call Ohio real soon, and that will be that.

ReplyDeleteCNN confirms that I'm on my third bottle of merlot
ReplyDeleteHow exactly did "Bush/Rove steal the vote in Ohio in 2004"?
ReplyDeleteThat is dangerous, even irresponsible, talk, Rump.
Rev. Wright for Sec. State!
ReplyDeleteBill Ayers for Sec. Defense! (He already knows where the Pentagon is!)
Louis Farrakhan for Sec. Education!
It is Mourning in America.
Rove pointed the gun and Bush drove the getaway car.
ReplyDeleteAsk McCain what they did to him in South Carolina in 2000. They took pictures of his adopted daughter from India and sent out mailers charging him with fathering a daughter out of wedlock with a black woman. Of course Bush's name was not on it- but who benefited from that?
WAIT- I'M WRONG. LINCOLN WON THE WHITE HOUSE WITHOUT OHIO. HOW COULD I MISS THAT?
