Well, I'm still going to try my level best at getting the news out.
If you thought Broward couldn't get any wackier, you have to read the article in the Sun-Sentinel today about this:
A Broward County judge was told not to return to the central courthouse when he was demoted from hearing county court civil cases to handling traffic- and parking-ticket cases at the satellite courthouses, according to a letter obtained Monday [March 31] by the Sun-Sentinel. County Court Judge Jay S. Spechler learned of his reassignment in a hand-delivered letter dated March 27 from Chief Judge Victor Tobin. Neither Spechler nor Tobin returned calls seeking comment. A mover and shaker in former Chief Judge Dale Ross' administration, Spechler resigned as administrator over the county civil division shortly after Ross announced his resignation as the circuit's chief last May.
UPDATE:
The Judge resigned today and sent his letter of resignation to Gov. Crist.
Runp - pay the guy what he wants. WTF - you have made money on the pop up ads - just give him the money and let's get this Blog back and resume the good work you are doing.
Look Rump. I'm in for $250 and I'll bet others would collect money for getting the blog back. Shumi, L & L boys, probably even Laeser and others would throw in a few bucks. Pay the guy, get the blog back, and call it a day.
All those who do not understand that this is an april fools joke, please find the nearest police officer or corrections officer and ask to be taken into custody - starting with you magilla gorilla
Besides the fact some other people think I am Rumpole- name one thing- one valid piece of evidence that leads you to believe I am responsible for this blog. Just one piece of evidence that would be admissible in court. You can't. And I would appreciate it if you and everyone esle stopped acussing me. I have already had my picture on TV and have had clients call my office to see if I was in trouble. Enough is enough.
If the blog was hacked all personal attacks against Phil R will stay up. If on the other hand it is a April fools joke Phil R will delete the attacks against him because as we know he is Rumpole.
All right who has some real good stuff on Phil - have at it now.
Darrin, if you reduce my waiting time at the 9th floor attorneys service window to less than 30 minutes and require every clerk to take down the "don't talk to the clerk during court" signs, I'm in your camp.

ReplyDeleteDo it.

Darrin, do you sit on this blog all day and watch it (no offense to the other lawyers and judges who do the same)
ReplyDeleteThis shit is really getting stupid. It was funny this morning, but humour, unlike wine, generally does not get better with age.
