IF

IF.
A POEM.
BY RUMPOLE.
PROPS TO R. KIPLING.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are screaming at the Dolphins and blaming it on Culpepper
If you can trust your team when all are laughing at you

If you can dream of just winning one--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think of just scoring once--and not make offense your aim;

If you can bear to hear the truth about Ricky Williams
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one lousy teaser with the Dolphins and over
And lose, and not jump out the window

If you can talk with crowds at the Stadium
Or walk with Shula, and still sit in the upper deck

If neither foes nor Titans can hurt you

If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With a decent two minute drill
Then yours is the NFL and everything that's in it,

And--which is more--you'll be at least 1 and 2.

    First, this post...uhh..not so good.
Second, this is now a good time for you to reveal your identity. Many people think I am behind this blog. But those who know me know I would not be associated with a lame bit of poetry especially about your stupid dolphins. I bleed black and gold. Steelers pound the Bungles today.

GOVERNOR BUSH APPOINTS CFC RECOMMENDED CANDIDATE TO DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS

During the month of January, 2005, Florida Governor Jeb Bush agreed with the
Christian Family Coalition's recommendation and appointed the Honorable
Judge Leslie Rothenberg to the Third District Court of Appeals

  17. DADE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION
    CODE OF PROFESSIONALISM AND CIVILITY
    PREAMBLE
Honor and integrity are the essence and an indispensable part of our profession. It is not enough to speak of honor or profess integrity. In the end, a personal commitment to honor and integrity must be established. Professionalism may no longer be relegated to a secondary topic and/or study that is then summarily filed away. We must acknowledge the responsibilities we have to society and each other. We as attorneys pledge to practice law in an honorable manner and devote ourselves to this Code of Professionalism and Civility.
AS A PROFESSIONAL, I WILL ALWAYS:
    http://www.dadecountybar.org/codeofcivility/

After reading many comments on the blog, I decided to post the above from the Dade County Bar Association. What I don't understand is how a Candidate who is running for Circuit Judge will even acknowledge signing her names and using some of the expressions as she did in many post. It is clearly that she does not follow the CODE OF PROFESSIONALISM AND CIVILITY and/or does not remember, AS A PROFESSIONAL, I WILL ALWAYS:
? Remember that my responsibilities include a devotion to the public good, respect for the civil rights and sensibilities of others, and a willingness to provide pro bono or reduced fee services where appropriate.
? Exercise courtesy and civility in all communications and avoid rudeness and other acts of disrespect.
? Avoid personal criticism of another lawyer.
? Set a good example for and assist newer members of the bar..........Ms. Parks I think you should go to the above link and read it once again and act Accordingly to what you promised AS A PROFESSIONAL in which your bound to as an attorney who pledge to practice law in an honorable manner and devote ourselves to this Code of Professionalism and Civility. I will share this site with others who share the same values and conduct themselves under the standards attorneys pledge to as honorable Professionals.
