Cohn over Rippingille 51-49
and Cathy Parks is still trying to figure out who will be her runoff opponent:
Mendez over Garcia 30-29.

For all those anonymous comments over the past 2 months, trumpeting the rascist idea that anyone with an hispanic surname is a sure winner in this town, today's election results show that Miami-Dade has a far more sophisticated electorate than you ever imagined. Whether you like the results or not, no ethnic group succeeded based on surname. I guess we learned today that the tune actually goes like this: "Migna will still be just Migna on January 3 ..."
