Seen at a small Temple in The Doral Area: Migna and a small group of Jewish ladies sitting around a table and talking, concluding the chat with a new twist on her favorite song:
ReplyDeleteMigna's for Israel
Israle's for Migna
Oh Shelly can't you see?
Israel's for Migna
Migna's for Israel
She'll be in the bench by January 3.

ReplyDeleteHmm Hardwick...I thought you were Mr Big shot. "Notice of intent to sue" shut it down by noon, etc..
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be reduced to sitting by your computer all day waiting for rumpole to take off moderation. Doesn't seem like you're all that important or powerful, as Rumpole still gets a thousand hits a day and a 100 comments a post.
Umm..hey nutso..why is my reader calling you Hardwick?
ReplyDeleteoops i forgot. I can't get your answer because your email is blocked from my account. Kinda of frustrating for you, isn't it? Having to sit and read this and not be able to do anything. arrgh.

I think Hernandez should be endorsed. The ad instance is nonsense. Just because his wife's name was on the ad didn't mean she authorized the ad. She is listed as his campaign treasurer.
ReplyDeleteLETS RE-ELECT IVAN HERNANDEZ.

ReplyDeletegreat job markus! gotta love the broward asa's line on the defendants second case after hearing the not guilty on the first one:
ReplyDeleteRossman said the second case will continue.
of course it will; would we expect anything less of satz?
Don't hare on McWhorter.
ReplyDeleteShe's fair - she is rude to both sides equally.
That sign, and most other signs, seem to be skirting election rules because the disclaimers are so small no one can read them. The candidate handbook says that such signs "prominently state" the disclaimer. "Any political advertisement that is paid for by a candidate and that is published, displayed, or circulated prior to, or on the day of, any election must prominently state: “Political advertisement paid for and approved by (name of candidate) (party affiliation) for (office sought).”"
ReplyDeleteLarry Schwartz---Garo Yepremiam
ReplyDeleteJerry Springer as Joan Fleishman
ReplyDeleteGeraldo Rivera as JOan Fleshman
ReplyDeleteTO THE POSTS ABOUT CANDIDATE MARISSA MENDEZ. I AM SURE YOUR HEART WAS IN THE RIGHT PLACE, BUT THE COMMENTS HAD TOO MUCH DISCUSSION OF HER PERSONAL LIFE AND WHERE HER CHILDREN GO TO SCHOOL (WHICH SHE SHOULD BE PROUD OF) FOR US TO FEEL COMFORTABLE PUBLISHING IT. SORRY.
ReplyDelete"Willie Garson (Stanford on "Sex in the City") as Jdg. Larry Schwartz "
ReplyDeletenow that right there is funny. 10:14 pm
Captain
ReplyDeletePBA also endorsed the new seats. What happened there?
Ivan Hernandez respected? Puleeze! The man doesn't understand the law or ethics, he's hardly ever there and is known to be rude to litigants. He looks away while his JA breaks the law and then tries to say he didn't know out of one side of his mouth and it's a free country so he can do what he wants out of the other. He only is on the bench because his predecessor had ethical lapses of his own trying to pick up prostitutes on Biscayne Boulevard. Ivan is worse because his ethical lapses reflect on his actions during his day job rather than after it.
ReplyDeleteTHERE IS NOTHING KOSHER ABOUT THIS LADY.SHE IS NOT LIKED AND NOR RESPECTED BY ANY OF HER OPPONENTS.SHE IS UNDERHANDED AND NOT VERY HONEST.
ReplyDeleteReese Witherspoon as Bronwyn Miller

ReplyDeleteLady Themis, you are surely on drugs or just flat out crazy. If the circuit bench were primarily criminal, your comments would make some sense. However, there is a lot of civil activity that goes on. Marissa Mendez has never tried a case. She will readily admit that, whereas Cathy Parks has a lot of trial experience. Her nursing background is important because so many cases involve personal injury, wrongful death, murder, construction accidents, etc. I would just like to add that your grammar is pathetic, but I won't go there very much. If writing appellate briefs qualifies you to be a trial judge then get me out of here. Parks is also a member of the Bar of the U.S. Supreme Court, for the record. Parks has also been voted a "Top Attorney in South Florida" by the South Florida Legal Guide and no one in her race has a chance of getting that.
ReplyDeleteLady Themis... Good try marissa
ReplyDeletethat is so low, to toot your horn like that....marissa.
ReplyDeletegod, every time i hear the name tinkler, I feel the urge to pee.
ReplyDeleteWhat about that other guy in the Parks/Mendez race? Mario Garcia? Does anyone know who he is? Has anyone seen him?
ReplyDeleteGarcia isn't bad. Has a PhD in Psychology, I think.
ReplyDeleteGuess Parks is hoping that Mendez and Garcia split the hispanic vote.
ReplyDeleteyeah right
