Real Life Rumpole Visits the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court

There will be a question and answer session after the presentation.

MY OH MY SPACE FALLOUT- PROSECUTOR OUT:

Fall-out from DJ Dofus and his prosecution of Redskin safety Sean Taylor: We heard ESPN report yesterday that Mr. Grieco resigned from the case. Here is what we see:
Mr. Grieco tried playing in the big leagues, but was no match for the opposition. Not to mix football and baseball metaphors, but its back to the minor leagues for you DJ Dofus.

Ex ASA Davidoff, living in the Big Apple, makes his final post on DJ Dofus:

This will be my last post about Mr. Grieco. Bad judgment is a synonym for Mike. Mike has continually used his position as a prosecutor not to only bolster himself, but to harm innocent victims. I am not involved with the Sean Taylor matter, but I think his actions are disgusting. I am involved in the case where Grieco acted as a defense attorney while employed by the State Attorneys Office and attempted to use his influence as a prosecutor to protect his friend. This was not bad judgment, this was corruption. Mike should have been fired for his actions. My client is now contemplating how he should proceed against Mike. Maybe my client will decide to move on, maybe he will decide to pursue several options. However, either way, Mr. Grieco you owe my client an apology. Mr. Grieco you owe the people of Florida an apology for interfering with a criminal investigation and abusing your power. Someone previously said KFR finally is defending her prosecutors. Come on, that is a joke. Mike's actions are not defendable.

Call the game as it should be called.
Mike, your actions are horrific.

Rumpole wonders if that last paragraph isn't pulled from Godfather II, during the senate hearing when the government witness (Frankey something) can't ID Michael Corleone and Tom Hagan starts shouting that the senate and the government owe Michael Corleone an apology.

Rumpole gives Mr. Grieco the same sage advice we gave Judge Lindsey: Hang in there Mike- some other Judge or attorney will shortly do something stupid and you will be out of the cross hairs of the blog's readers.

Rumpole misses Miami, and will see you in court next week, or whenever we can get this blasted matter to a jury.

  11. GRIECO IS A GOOD GUY WITH BAD JUDGMENT. STOP IT. LAY OFF OF IT. IT'S DAVIDOFF USING THIS BLOG TO CREATE "VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES" FOR HIS CLIENT. LISTEN, ASSHOLE, STOP USING THIS FORUM TO MAKE HEADWAY IN YOUR PENDING CIVIL SUIT. GET A LIFE.

    ReplyDelete
  12. DAVIDOFF, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO FIGURE IT OUT I'LL MEET YOU AT THE FIFTY YARD LINE.

    ReplyDelete
  13. grieco was just getting mocked on PTI. he might be able to parlay this into a real job like that other prosecutor who was swept of his feet by Hingus did. go greico! as for davidoff, he is a disgrace to humanity.

    ReplyDelete
  14. a 'disgrace to humanity'? ouch! hehe ;) apparently he is re-livin the glory days of life in the 305....Godspeed my brother

  15. Pardon The Interruption

    ReplyDelete
  16. so, dude got what he wanted; his grill all over the idiot box. props....

    ReplyDelete
  17. grieco's my space site is just a stupid collection of random crap that makes no sense and is suitable for teenagers who work at best buy.

You know, like the comments on this site.

    ReplyDelete
  18. What a bunch of crap. With all the shenanigans going on in the Justice building, you jump on the bandwagon against Mike Grieco? Is that the best you can dig up? Vilifying Mike Grieco for a meaningless myspace website?

Leave the guy alone. He's a damned good prosecutor with a life. Something you obviously do not have.

    G. Gutierrez

    ReplyDelete
  19. Guiterrez - thats what this blog has become - jumping on the bandwagon against people and making shit up - there's no respect here.

    ReplyDelete
  20. The proper way to conduct a depo:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e12sqYYLJxA

    ReplyDelete
  21. davidoff, most people here dont like you. this is a blog for the criminal community in miami. you want to weigh in once and a while, go ahead. but frankly, you are irrelevant and i dont need to see your name every other post. turn the page, bro, and move on. join a NY blog. peace...anonymous.

    ReplyDelete
  22. that depo on youtube.com was great. i want depos like that one. BIG BOY!

    ReplyDelete
  23. I like Davidoff, and I think the 8:37 blog is probably Michael Catalano who Davidoff schooled in front of Judge Bach years ago. Michael, I sat in the courtoom and laughed so hard at you!!!!!!! Bach ripped you a new asshole, how is it feeling these days?

    ReplyDelete
  24. i bet catalano has moved on since that case years ago. you should too.

    ReplyDelete
  25. you have to understand that an asa wrote that last post about Catalano (who they are either 1. jealous of, 2. hate, because they know he is a good attorney, or 3. all of the above) , and when they (ASA'S) lose, they remember it forever, unlike defense attorneys, who can handle it a bit better because we understand it comes with the territory.

so many idiots who write in on this blog need to grow up.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rumpole, a holiday poll please:

WHO WILL TAKE OVER THE PROSECUTION OF SEAN TAYLOR?

And please exclude the following from consideration:

    shitbird
    Davidoff
    myspace.com
    zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
    The $900 guy
    D'Arce
    Shelly's Schwartz' Purple Jacket
    The Herald Scribe
    JF
    the captain

    ReplyDelete
  27. Trust me, Catalano remembers every loss. Also, do not say he has few losses, because we all know he has many more than he would let us believe.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I do not think anyone wants to touch that case. Besides Grieco's mess, the case sucks.

By the way, the ASAs I have spoken to are very angry at KFR. The ASAs think KFR should not have stuck her neck out for Grieco because he was wrong, but she should stand up for other ASAs.

    ReplyDelete
  29. i like when people write things like "an asa wrote that post...".

actually, i wrote it. and im not an asa. nice attempt at clairvoyance, though. nice day to go for a run in the park. enjoy the beautiful weather.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey, why don't you put your name and we don't need to be speculating.

    ReplyDelete
  31. For the record, if you have been a active reader of this blog you would have seen that Mr. Davidoff had been complaining about Mike Grieco long before his most recent issues. Grieco and issues are a constant problem. The SAO should have never rehired such a loose cannon in the first place. That place possess some of the worst judgement. If it was a private law office it would have gone bankrupt long ago and the losers that work their would be living at Camilus House where they belong.

    ReplyDelete
  32. In October 2005, Don Horn received a letter from two attorneys about the Grieco matter. I guess everyone is jumping on Davidoff's coat tails.

As much as you like of dislike Davidoff, he called this one before anyone.

My question is, Mr. Horn and Ms. Rundle why was nothing done about this months ago when you first found out about it?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Davidoff for State Attorney.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Grieco for mayor of Miami Beach.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Grieco for queen of Automatic Slim.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Horn for State Attorney, in your next life.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Say what about you want about Davidoff but whatever he need was minor compared to DJ Esquire.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Christopher Baisden for chief of police of city of Miami. Now we are talking about fixing the system.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Baisden is a cool guy who cares about the people of this county. Lets go Chris!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I think team Sharpstein and Baisden could take Grieco on and take over the title of DJ Esquire!

    Any wages?

    ReplyDelete
  41. gabe martin for undertaker.

    ReplyDelete
  42. tavilla for president naacp

    ReplyDelete
  43. Gabe should have taken over the PD's office. I would love to have seen Martin v. Rundle square off in court. Oh, KFR wont go to court. Maybe Gabe v. Horn. Nope, same thing no show.

    ReplyDelete
  44. problem with gabe is that he had to run as a republican. bush only got 44% of county. martin got 47%. it's a dem. county.
vereen for public defender. sorry gabe.

    ReplyDelete
  45. vereen would be outstanding but he wouldnt take the cut in pay.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Rod, nah, that would never happen. Rod dresses too nicely. Gabe, also a good dresser, but he is a true believer.

Give it another run young man!

    ReplyDelete
  47. o.k. o.k. how bout randy petre for pd?

    ReplyDelete
  48. It absolutely disgusts me that you whimpy assholes who are slamming Davidoff and saying "you'll meet him on the 50 yard line", etc, lack the balls to post your name. If you are going to call someone names, say you want to fight them, etc., at least have the GUTS to post who you are instead of hiding behind "anonymous" like a big pussy. Say what you want about Davidoff, but at least he has the guts to sign his name on his posts. Until those of you that are calling him names put your ID on the line, SHUT THE FUCK UP.

    ReplyDelete
  49. hey fuck head, the difference if that Davisoff is in New York and all the little ASA in Miami cannot take vengeful action against him unless he comes to Miami and is charged with eating too much. That is the difference you stupid fuck head. anonymous

    ReplyDelete
  50. My name is Davidoff and I point my finger because I am in a far away place. it is a beautiful thing. Davidoff, if your such a tough guy, why don't you meet me at the 6th exit of the New York Subway. Stay the fuck in New York you bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Look how the ASA's are going to treat the Sharpstiens.

    ReplyDelete
  52. The Sharpsteins are liked by most ASAs. Grieco pissed them off, because he is an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Most of ASAs hate Grieco, so you fools stop defending him. By the way, most of the bloggers on here come from the Grieco MySpace website.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Don Horn a no show in court? Are you implying that he doesn't know how to litigate?

Maybe you're too young to remember, but Horn has some serious skills. In fact, he is one of the most talented lawyers in the state.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Kevin Jones is a talented and good attorney. Now, he should be state attorney.

    ReplyDelete
  56. New topic, Grieco and Davidoff are boring now.

How about back to some judicial talk.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Rippingille is an excellent judge, definitely does the robe justice. I can see why so many people respect the court these days. I for one am proud to have her as our ambassador to our friends from across the pond. We need more judges like her. Too many are simply stupid, overly passionate about small issues, stumble over their words, or simply should be doing something other than using their trust funds to finance their jobs as judges. Most just like to be called "the honorable" at parties in the gables. Bonnie is none of those things, God bless Bonnie

    ReplyDelete
  58. David your a fat shit. The next time you are in Miami I am going to have you arrested for being a fat ass. Get the fuck off this blog. And, fuck your mother while your at it.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Rip,

I think we have to tone down the language. Some angry prosecutors on here.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Davidoff, chill out. Why are you letting these guys work you up? Go home, kiss your wife, take her to a nice dinner and a Broadway play. Don't let these losers get you down.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Those that have to result to personal attacks on Davidoff should be ashamed of themselves. It that is the best you can do you are not better then Grieco. Are you getting personal because you know he is right but are not bold enough to say it?

    ReplyDelete
  62. No matter how bad you think Davidoff is he at least is not all over the papers embarssing that shameful place called the SAO. Believe me that place has more mud on its face then New Orleans after Katrina. Well maybe not as much as Mr. DJ Grieco.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Davidoff, this is not about you. Fuck off already.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Grieco give up his bar license and do what he does best. Play music, think he is cool and hang on with his best friend....himself.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Simple truth.

Davidoff was a real jerk of a prosecutor and should stop bothering us down here.

    End of story.

    ReplyDelete
  66. If you actually worked a case with Davidoff, you would not trust a word he says.

I did. He was a real slimy prosecutor.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Your a jerk, your slime. Are you upset Davidoff was better than you.

    Wa Wa Wa.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I worked with Davidoff, he put it all on the table. If you beat him, you either were better than him or had the facts on your side. If he beat you, than the same. But one thing you cannot say about Davidoff is that he lied or hid anything from you.

Call him a jerk for working extra time to get a witness in? Call him a jerk for building a strong case, when you think is was a joke? Well then he is a jerk, and you are a biatch.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I agree, this is not about Davidoff, this is ONLY about Grieco. Stick to the facts dumb ass Pds.

    ReplyDelete
  70. If you were Sean Taylor's attorney, would you call Grieco scum or slime for not disclosing that all the witnesses either had pending criminal cases, were convicted felons, or had recent arrests No Actioned?

How about for his MySpace site?

    That is scum and slime.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Do you really think Sharpstein wants a trial? His client would be suspended from the NFL if he took a felony plea, probation or prison.

    ReplyDelete
  72. just like the running back from the ravens who took a fed. felony plea? 4 games- big deal. take the probation you guilty fucking thug.

    ReplyDelete
  73. davidoff we still love you down here you big hunk of love.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Those who hate Davidoff, do not know Davidoff. Go smoke a cigar and have a glass of wine with him, you will be in his corner after 20 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Chris Marlowe must come back. We miss him!!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. "It's incredible that this young man would be facing three counts of incredible severity," said Ed Carhart, one of Taylor's three lawyers. "He has so much to lose it's mind boggling."

Ed-----What's really incredible as how stupid he was. He's got more money and fame than the rest of us can imagine and he's out starting gun fights? C'mon.

PS-----I suppose you're going to tell us that you're just exercising your client's First Amendment rights and not trying to taint the jury pool next, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  77. Ed, you should feel lucky to still be on the defense team. shut your mouth before you find yourself defending DUIs again.

p.s. Sean drop this guy, it's like this guy should be playing in the Arena Football league and they got him playing strong safety right next to you. He gona make you lose the confrence game of your life.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I sense a lot of hostility here. Maybe Rump can arrange for the Mahi Temple to set up a ring once a month for people to duke it out. Anonymous posters can wear masks like the Mexican wrestlers.
Suddenly, being fat may not be such a bad thing when you outweigh some little wannabe by 150 lbs and sit on their head.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Attention to all Defense attorneys:
Although this is not related, I thought that you will benefit from this. Judge Adrien is issuing Rule to Show Cause against all private attorneys or court-appointed attorneys who don't show up for sounding. To avoid this, just show up.
It happened to someone I know. It wasn't pretty.

    ReplyDelete
  80. judge adrein is a lisp turd.

    ReplyDelete
  81. ed carhart doing dui cases? get a sense of history and pluck your head out of your ass. carhart is in the majors while you are a fuck rodent.

    ReplyDelete
  82. why do you bother - the kid thought Carhart did DUI cases because his last name is "Car" hart.

Cant you tell most of the people posting comments are either too young to know, or too old to remember?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Adrien? RTSC on me? What a joke he is. Anyone really take him seriously?

    ReplyDelete
  84. Rumpole - found this on another blog - lets do a poll on adding this service:

  85. Ed Car hart is a real attorney. Fuck you, Ed Carhart is about to get dropped from the case. you heard it here first.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Why all the 4 letter words?
This site was better when less people were making foul comments.
Please clean up your language; show some class.
If you have something critical to say, then please say it without all the f bombs. Perhaps all those using such poor language should wash out their keyboards with soap.

    ReplyDelete
  87. What a strange tone to take toward Mr. Carhart, who is considered by all of the finest criminal atty's in Miami, to be one of the best? Who are you? Indeed you must be simple.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Rumpole, please tell this simpleton what a magnificent litigator Mr. Carhart.

    ReplyDelete
  89. rumps -- where 'ya been? in the mountains again? or was that acquittal so draining you've lost the strength to referee this brawl?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Rump is working for the Miami Herald.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Rod Vereen For PD! Bhb is tired, must go home snd nap. Gabe is my boy, but has no chance in this county. Go Rod.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Dear Sir:
Mr. Vereen has taken the lead by a single vote in Rump's Public Defender poll.
Could it be? A strong black man takes the helm at the Dade PDO?

    ReplyDelete
  93. What about that Britt for Pd? Nah, gotta go with Rod.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Its sad to see, how harsh eveyone is being to Mike because of the futball player case and his webpage, but on the other hand, Mr. Sarmiento committed by far a worse mistake, and eveyone feels bad for him. It's nice to see how people have their priorities mixed here...There are no saints here, and Davidoff, you're no longer here, so, you have no idea what's going on. You are not better than Mike or anyone else, and remember, that you were one prosecutor that took more vacation than anyone else at the office. Maybe people should ask the staff at the SAO, so they can really say how Davidoff was, thank you

    ReplyDelete
  95. Post 12:51 This has nothing to do with Davidoff. VACATIONS, if that's all you have that's pretty pathetic. Maybe you should take a few vacations yourself, the SAO can get to people after a while. But I do agree with you that what is alleged against Sarmiento is worse, however it did not impact any cases that he was handling. Grieco's alleged conduct did impact a case he was prosecuting, thus he is no longer on the case. The actions of the SAO removing Grieco from the Taylor case speak volumes of how they view this matter.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Davioff is the only man on the planet who can eat more hot dogs then the great Kobiashi.

    ReplyDelete
  97. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

    ReplyDelete
  98. Greico's actions did not impact any case. It's only a cheap shot defense counsel was unsing to try to get the case dismiss...come on, i know you are smarter than that.
And as for Sarmiento, he is the guy that prosecutes criminals and drugs users, however, he was arrested for possession. Can someone please make any sense out of this?

    ReplyDelete
  99. I've been around long enough to know that Grieco can wipe the floors with all of your sorry asses in court...especially Davidoff and that isn't even a reference to the size of his enormous ass. You are clearly just jealous of Grieco's litigation skills, the respect he demands and the fact he's always given the high profile case...not to mention his social skills and ability to have a fruitful life outside the office. And then to attack his sexuality on top of it; now you're all haters because he's good looking, knows how to dress and obviously takes all female attention away from you? The guy could sleep with all of your wives and girlfriends without even trying, but that's neither here nor there. Is he perfect? Of course not, but who are we kidding, neither are any of you. At least he has the balls to put it on the line and the skills to back it up -- he offered the plea, but the thug wouldn't take it. Knowing the force they were dealing with, the defense had to take Grieco down ... and with a cheap shot at that. With high profile, comes high risk of personal attack and that has never stopped Grieco. You all just sit around and wait for the top guy to fall. Well I'm sure this episode has just fueled his fire, so thugs and pussy colleagues beware! Until you're all perfect, you need to get away from your high school mentality and work on improving yourself instead of trying to knock a guy down. All of you who sit on here and bash people are pathetic!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Davidoff's ass has nothing to do with this, it is about Grieco's games.

By the way, Davidoff got a lot of ass when he was in Miami, so I guess his big ass gets him somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  101. drug laws create criminals. make drugs legal, and miami once again has a fine prosecutor in mr r sarmiento. before you all go nuts, ask how much you drink. same thing, they each give you a buzz.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Good reasoning.

Why don't we legalize everything.......then we won't have ANY criminals.

    ReplyDelete
  103. dont legalize everything, i need a job. but at least legalize herb. (as all the drunkards in tally go bonkers over the idea of legal herb after the lies of the losing war on drugs.)

if anyone can find a stat of a pot head causing anothers death, please post. i cant find one. but i do see thousands of alcohol related deaths yearly. i suppose the system is goods enough, keep the dangerous alcohol legal, but keep the herb illegal.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Aaaaaah. The wonders of Google. This forum came up in a search for Mike Grieco. Sorry to intrude, but this is too good.

We Redskins fans are taking a great deal of pleasure in laughing at Mike Grieco. You really should view the saved version of his MySpace site. It's really funny, especially the ten year old foul mouthed rapper.

(We know you are reading these blog entries Mike...) You probably are the one trying to pick the fight on the New York Subway with Davidoff.

Some call you "DJ Dirty Sanchez" after looking at your MySpace site preserved forever... Yes, it is part of Redskins history now.

Kudos. You do seem to know a lot of hot (and slightly skanky) women who adore you. I especially like the one on this blog who is clearly in LOVE with you and thinks you can sleep with everyone's wives and girlfriends.

Women always do love the bad boyz, but I bet they're snickering now. You'll get over this though. Thanks for the laughs, delivering Sean Taylor back to us for next season, and mostly for the voyeurism we all enjoyed. Good luck with your Automatic Slims business.

  107. Sean Taylor is going to the Super Bowl.
Mike Grieco is going to the unemployment line.
    'nuff said!

    ReplyDelete
  108. Hopefully he'll be going straight from the unemployment line to the FBA, and then he'll just be another idiot DJ.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I heard that Davidoff and Grieco are putting together a gay porno to capitalize on their new-found notoriety. Does anyone want to watch a fat New Yorker get poked by a greasy little DJ wanna-be?

    I thought not.
