I liked the Blog better when I believed he was secretly a rebellious judge currently on the bench.

What makes you think it isn’t ? Maybe all the cheap shots at judges has been a cleaver way to hide my identity all these years.

I’ll bet Rumpole is in the Sierra Mountains looking out over still snow covered peaks tending to his Spring planted organic vegetable garden.

Not a care on his mind. Reading the Financial Times, Barron’s, New England Journal of Medicine and perhaps drinking freshly squeezed lemonade.

Well deserved Mate. After dealing with all these complex criminal indictments around the country and getting acquittals on some or a downward departure on others - you have earned this.

Try some of the newer cafes and restaurants in Truckee. Some very exceptional write ups in the San Francisco Journal.

Cheerio Sir.

I heard Rumpole has a new hottie and that is how he is spending his sabbatical with her.

I have repeatedly written that I read the NY Times, the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and Le Monde, in that order most days. I am loving all the puzzles in the times and Washington Post. Check out the post puzzles. I’m addicted.
