DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN

Cuba has no oil. Cuba has no source for energy. Cuba is unable to produce electricity.

Cuba is dark.

Thursday CIA chief John Ratcliffe flew to Cuba and met with officials, but not the leader.

Is this the start of the change we have been waiting for?

Well, everybody's got a secret, SonnySomething that they just can't faceSome folks spend their whole lives trying to keep itThey carry it with them every step that they take
'Til someday they just cut it looseCut it loose or let it drag 'em downWhere no one asks any questionsOr looks too long in your faceIn the darkness on the edge of townIn the darkness on the edge of town
Darkness on the Edge of Town, Bruce Springsteen.

Cuba is a cesspool. It will never change unless the US invades.

WARNING Rumpole:

China will blockade or take over Taiwan. Our U.S. companies will not be allowed the needed chips from Taiwan Semiconductor. Nvidia, Micron, AMD, etc will be in a panic situation because they can’t survive without Taiwan Semiconductor.

Stock market crash by at least 50%.

Add to it $120 plus oil. No opening of the Straits. No peace with Iran. Gulf States in a panic. Oil shortage gets worse. GDP goes down to negative. Recession. Depression.

Add to it that inflation in the U.S. will soon be at 5-6% with increased oil prices, increased fertilizer prices, increased food prices, etc.

Add to it interest rates that must increase raising the 10 year yield above 5-6%. Therefore no affordable mortgages. No home sales. And worse - millions of bank foreclosures due to people walking away.

AI will increase unemployment to a huge percentage as robots and AI take over jobs.

How do families afford to live? Increased credit card debt. Cars repossessed. Panic in the streets leads to increased crime and political unrest.

The midterm elections will lead to a democratic sweep of the House and Senate. First move - impeach the president, secretary of defense, etc.

Nothing gets done in congress.

Rumpole. Please refute what I say will come.

If you can.

Sell. Sell. Sell.

You realize TSMC makes the products the U.S. companies need in Arizona NOT in Taiwan right?

From Grok:

Taiwan serves as TSMC's headquarters and houses the majority of its massive "gigafabs" that handle high-volume production. Historically, the United States has purchased approximately 92% of its cutting-edge chips directly from Taiwan. Even as domestic U.S. manufacturing ramps up, a critical bottleneck remains in advanced packaging. Chips fabricated in the United States are often sent back to Taiwan for final packaging because the highly specialized facilities required for this step are concentrated there.

Major U.S. technology companies, including Apple, Nvidia, and AMD, rely entirely on TSMC to fabricate their most advanced chips. TSMC has stated that once the Arizona expansion is fully completed in 2029, approximately 30% of the company's 2-nanometer and more advanced chip capacity will be located in the United States. This shift aims to create an independent, leading-edge semiconductor cluster on U.S. soil, though Taiwan will continue to maintain the bulk of TSMC's global capacity.

@10:33AM-- While TSMC has made significant progress in Arizona, their current operations and future roadmap (as of May 2026) still heavily favor Taiwan for the highly advanced chips that companies like Nvidia and AMD depend on. : As of early 2026, TSMC's Arizona output is expected to increase by 1.8 times year-on-year, but it still represents a fraction of its total global capacity. By 2028, non-Taiwan facilities are only projected to account for about 20% of TSMC’s total output.

Prepare for another Mariel if Trump invades or even attacks Cuba. Just what Miami needs is 125-200K rafters coming here. Remember Cuba is only 435 miles from Miami and 90 miles from Key West.

Always get a haircut the day before your trial begins. You can’t pick a jury looking like shit.
