The Los Angeles Dodgers are the 2024 World Champions of Baseball.
Did you know that the Dodgers name goes back to when they were the Brooklyn Dodgers and patrons had to "dodge" trolley cars on the way into the ballpark in Brooklyn?
Defense wins - championships and trials.
In the fifth inning Wednesday night the Yankees were up 5-0 when the Dodgers came to bat. The end was near. The better baseball team was about to show why they are better and the worse team was about to unequivocally show why they were the inferior team.
The Yankees made a string of errors that a little league baseball should not make.
Pitcher Gerritt Cole, pitching the game of his life, failed to cover first base on a grounder to first, allowing the Dodgers to score and keep the inning alive. Yankee superstar Aaron Judge, who in the first inning broke out of his slump and hit a massive home run, and later made a spectacular catch in center field, allowed a routine fly ball to go over his head in the fifth inning. No Willie Mays he. Somewhere Vic Wertz is smiling.

Happy Halloween except for one person.
The Big Easy E used to throw epic and I mean legendary Halloween parties. Madonna always showed up. Stallone years when he lived here. Those were the days (sigh)
I don’t know what type of fetish you have but God help you if Madonna shows up.
Rumpole. It was a great comeback by the Dodgers and an epic fail by the Yankees. The Yankees pitcher was pitching a no hitter entering that fifth inning. The Yankees actually committed three errors in the inning. One correction. Judge did not allow a fly ball to go over his head. He kept the ball in front of him and he simply dropped an easy catch. Always love seeing the Yankees lose.
Question to whoever runs the SAO. Why are there no support staff. I’ve witnessed one employee covering Units that should have 5-6 people.
Weak incompetent leadership that starts off at the top and trickles down. This causes low retention and a vast amount of turnover. I recommend the state to seek a professional employment consultant.
Actually he did both. The most egregious was the drop of the ball. He was looking to see if he could double up the runner after making the catch, and thus failed to make the catch. True Little League stuff. Later he was playing far too shallow and could not get back in time to catch a long fly ball.
Over judge's head? Did u even watch the game or highlights?
No one wants to work where you get paid peanuts to be mistreated.
Hey Rump, you have accidently and unknowingly stumbled upon a Dodgers WS trivia question. When was the last time a team committed 3 errors in one inning in a WS game? I am old enough to remember game 2 of the '66 WS between the Orioles and Dodgers. Willie Davis (an otherwise great fielder) committed two fielding and one throwing error as the O's scored 3 unearned runs in the inning. Another answer to a trivia question. This game was the last ever pitched by the phenomenal Sandy Koufax.
What on Gods green earth does this question have to do with baseball, the World Series, or an unprecedented jab at the Yankees? Some people’s demons never sleep. Learn to live and enjoy life, like us baseball fans.
SAO is a sinking ship. No jacks to save Rose.
SAO employment = being harassed, mistreated, belittled, treated like a you’re a piece of shit and they pay you a poverty level wage.
