FEDERAL MAGISTRATES RETURN TO IN COURT HEARINGS

In the military, when a General decides to take a hill they issue an order. The Colonel then orders the Major to take that hill. The Major orders the Captain to take that hill. The Captain tell the Lieutenant to take that hill. The LT tells the Sergeant that the General wants them to take that hill, and the sergeants leads his or her troops to take that hill.

Federal Magistrates in the SDFL have been ordered back to court starting next Monday. Let's hope that in the SDFL, this is not June 2021 all over again. For Judges who read the blog, this is an allegorical reference to a time period just before the Delta variant ripped through our country, when people were vaccinated and everyone was feeling good. Then Delta/ Covid hit and you know the rest.

It will be nice to see Judge Torres or Judge Louis again, and perhaps to trade movie and music trivia with Judge Goodman. But we are worried this could be problematic.

TOO WHITE TO GO TO JAIL

This Capital rioter Texas real estate agent- Jenna Ryan-  tweeted that because she had blonde hair and white skin she could not be sentenced to prison for her actions in invading Congress on January 6, 2020.

US District Court Judge Christopher Cooper did not agree, and sentenced Ms. Ryan to 60 days in jail, commenting that she showed no remorse for her actions.

Those who firebombed the federal courthouse in Portland in July 2020 still havent been charged, tried or sentenced for their "insurrection" against the federal government. Nor anyone who participated in ousting the US government from a declared secession zone in Seattle, in which two people were murdered and police were barricaded out.

Hmmm, wonder why. Guess the feds are so busy prosecuting the un-armed insurrectionists who trespassed into the capitol, staying between the velvet ropes and chatting with capitol police.

Im sure after all those 1/6 "insurrectionists" (many of whom are being held in solitary confinement and report physical abuse by corrections officers) are imprisoned, the feds will surely get around to anyone who firebombed federal buildings or established autonomous zones the summer before. Im sure of it.

After all, justice in Biden's DOJ is not political.

First, they are not "federal magistrates." They are magistrate judges.

Second, they weren't "ordered" back, they—on their own—decided to resume in court proceedings.

Third, do you just see what DOM posted and then post about that topic too?

3:16 Those Portland folks were peaceful protesters who had to light those buildings because of inadequate street lighting. How dare you criticize virtuous, highly moral, always properly motivated Democrats of any wrong-doing or criticizing our prsident who is awake most of the time in public.

Sure it's a moronic thing to say, but 60 days for trespassing for a few minutes? Um, no. We teach people how stupid they are by... incarceration? And that makes us feel good? Disgusting. This women is borderline mental.

I agree with the general point made by 316. They dropped scores of charges involving violence, including fighting police, in Portland. Now we launch this idiot for trespassing?

Maybe we shoulda ginned up charges for the protesters who tried to stop kavanaughs confirmation. They "assaulted our democracy" and tried to subvert our democratic process blah blah blah. Jail time unless they repent!

Go usa where we cheer incarceration

316 this blog supports antifa and blm violence and will never call for their prosecution because he likes their violence.

The firebombers in Portland are probably not being prosecuted because they were smart enough to be in disguise and not taking selfies while they committed their Federal crimes. Or maybe 3:16 is right and Joe Biden, as he is want to do, ordered his DoJ to stop its investigation of the firebombing of a Federal courthouse. The January 6 morons were not only criminals but stupid criminals who practically begged the Government to arrest and prosecute them and are now justly enjoying the fruit of their stupidity.

Put her ass in jail

You guys are ridiculous.

Jenna Ryan got two months and these are the facts:

She didn't just wander into the Capital following a group of follow protesters. She was at her hotel room, saw on the news that the Capital had been overrun and went back to the scene to intentionally and knowingly participate.

She recorded herself saying of the events of the day that she was getting ready to "storm the Capital" and "going to war." She didn't leave as a result of police orders, but rather only because she could not longer handle the tear gas being deployed against her and her cohorts.

This was not just trespassing or even a protest turned riot. This was an insurrection. It was an attack at the heart of democracy, with congress in session, and an attempt to overturn the results of a lawful election. The people participating were shouting things like "Hang Mike Pence" while they were storming the building that Mike Pence was in.

And for all of that she got two months.

In any other country, this woman gets locked up for a term of years (if not worse) and is, rightfully, branded a traitor. Two months is not overreaching or unjust; hell, is probably not enough.

As for the Portland idiots, they should be prosecuted too and should have the book thrown at them - no mercy, seriously. How about them apples? In the meantime, the fact that they aren't being prosecuted does not mean that Jenna Ryan shouldn't be prosecuted either. All of your whataboutisms make you sound like petulant 5 year old children upset because their little brother got away with something.

60 days! For participating in the storming of the capital building to assist in the attempted murder of the Vice President and members of the House of Representatives? Boy it’s great to be white in this country. I know black people who’ve done more time for smoking a joint! 20 years would’ve been fair. The sentence is a slap in the face to every American who wins and loses elections every 2 or 4 years with dignity and respect for every other American.

If black people would have done what they January 6 idiots did, they wouldn't be alive to be prosecuted.
