When all the liberal psychopaths desperately claimed trump was colluding with Russia for years, you didnt jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon and calmly said it was bogus. Trump is an all around bufoon and an all American fraudster, but russian spy he is and was not. But I am wholly disappointed you haven't said a word about the treatment of the 1/6 rioters. Despite a history of professing a belief that even tear gas wasnt an appropriate tool to quell a riot, the liberal mantra has now come to embrace **live ammunition** is now acceptable to use on rioters. Despite a history of professing to care about over aggressive prosecutors and overincarceration, libs love to see the 1/6 rioters, many of them borderline if not fully diagnosed mentally ill, held in solitary confinement and subjected to punishment based on guilt by association.

What occurred was treason. It was also the actual textbook definition of terrorism. Does not matter the political party. Would be treason and terrorism if it was Antifa or whatever myth the right wants to pretend it actually was. Luckily, this time, the traitors lost.

Was this terrorism? Treason? Maybe more of the rioters should have been shot? Maybe they shouldnt get probation or a few months jail for treapassing....perhaps they should all get the death penalty?
They were not "rioters" when they entered the Capitol. At that point they became either, as 906 put it, terrorists, or an invading force.
It is not just that congress and the VP were there. The question is what the 1/6 people were doing. To use their words, they were trying to "stop the steal;" which is to say, they were trying to overturn a lawful election by force. There is a term for that: attempting a coup d'etat.
Anyone of the lawful protesters who walked walked in the door on 1/6 became a participant in that attempted coup d'etat.
They should be tried for treason.
