SUICIDE POOL UPDATE: If you don't see your name, you haven't successfully registered. If you don't see your pick, send it again in a NEW email and don't reply to the old one. Good luck. We have a winner of our FIRST PERSON OUT. Clay Kaiser take a bow. In the history of the REGJB blog suicide pool, no one has ever gone out on the first Wednesday of the football season.

UPDATE: Perhaps the greatest amicus brief ever filed.  And only five pages. A must read!
Apple Amicus Brief 1

Joe Centorino is looking for volunteers for this worthy cause:

The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust and the Miami-Dade County School Board have each passed resolutions endorsing this project, which will put hundreds of volunteers into Miami-Dade high school classrooms to speak on the importance of civic participation as an avenue to promoting more ethical government at all levels.  The date was chosen for its proximity to an important
Presidential election.  We are calling upon public officials, civic leaders and attorneys with significant civic involvement or government experience to join in this community conversation by sharing their knowledge and insight with the next generation of voters.

You may consider volunteering for the entire day or for any portion of the day, and we will place you in one or more high school classrooms for this event.  You may also indicate a school preference, which we will accommodate wherever possible.  While we will provide suggested talking points for all speakers, we are encouraging our volunteer speakers to draw upon their own stories and backgrounds in their presentations and to make an effort to connect personally with students.  This is a worthwhile, non-partisan project which will provide you with an opportunity to help improve the civic life of our community.

Sign up and volunteer by emailing Uncle Joe at Centori at  or at this website.

John Kerry has them dancing in the aisles:

"MR. ROMNEY. Before you debate President Obama on foreign policy, you need to finish the debate with yourself." (on his flip flopping stances)

"Ask Osama Bin Laden. Ae you better off now than you were four years ago?"

Much better speech than his acceptance speech of 2004.

Cap Out ....

Biggest contrast between Tampa and Charlotte. The stage in Tampa after Romney speech looked like a two page fold out for Brooks Brothers. Tonight, the stage looks like. Spread from Target and JC Penny's.

Kind of like the make up of the two audience of delegates at the two conventions too.

So, it is 61 days until Tuesday, November 6, 2012 and election night.

American has their two candidates.

Next up will be the three debates. One of which takes place at FAU in Boca Raton.

Cap Out .....

I'm a lifelong Democrat but still love Brooks Brothers.

John Kerry is the top expert when it comes to flip flops. Mitt Romney is not that far behind him.

Brooks Brothers does make a solid shirt that will stand up over time, if you are buying off the rack, which I don't.

I prefer to have my shirtings custom crafted by Eton, a Swiss firm or at Gieves & Hawkes, 1 Savile Row, London.

Now that both conventions are over, its time to get to work.

Which judges' seats are going to be open in 2014. Not the whole list, but the open seats that are being vacated by the current sitting judge. I assume it would only be the judges that are age-limited.

ROFL on the Fake Fake Kenny W link.

As to Brooks Brothers, that is so
1980's. Please. Move it up a decade and try and get some Brioni or Versace stuff. At least you'll look 1990's.

Seriously, I can't believe that after DS speaks out on his learning disability some jerks still thinks it's funny to make funny of DS's spelling.

And we wonder why people hate lawyers.

Dear Friends
- ie BTDT, Capt, Ken, Rumpole, etc
Dont sweat it, I dont.
So they want to make fun of my spelling. Fact is I still CAN NOT Spell.
Most likely they cant argue against the logic of my positions.
Also they probably dont understand the term LD.Gifted.
LD is Learning Disabled. But Gifted refers to my IQ of 139.
Have a good weekend.

I found my credentials for the 1972 Democratic Convention in Miami Beach.
I was` a runner for the DNC-Radio unit and had a ROSTERM ALL ACCESS Pass.
All are welcome to drop by my office & see it.
Additionally, My Dad was twice a Clinton Delegate to the convention in the 1990s.

139 has a way to go before you see the top in our profession.

But you can learn to use spell check, and then copy the finished product into any e-mail that you send.

Or is that too hard for a mere 139 to understand?

DS has an IQ of 139 like I have a 12 inch muranga.

Who cares whether ds can spell, or walk and chew gum at the same time? His personality and lack of any sensitivity to anyone but his inflated sense of self is his problem. What a joke to waste so much time on him on this blog. I suspect he writes most of his jibberish anonymously so that he can makes himself feel better about the trash he writes about others.
