Very happy for former Dade ASA Woody. He will bring some real life experience and fairness to the Bench. Much needed up there.
Also congrats to Judge Benjamin. We don’t really know him but we hear some good things.
Benjamin Shumied his opponent big time. Nice to see that the Latina name game didn’t work.

Delete10:49 - already feeling emboldened because your racist messiah is in power?

ReplyDeleteAny sign of MVZ’s protégés? They seem to be in hiding.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Woody!!
ReplyDeleteWoody!!! I have so much respect for you. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteDear Nov. 7 at 10:49, why is a qualified lawyer, who did not change her name in order to file, who filed in an open seat, playing a game? I would agree that in those instances where men or women judicial candidates in the past suddenly had a name change would be gamesmanship that is open for criticism, BUT what your statement says is that you think ANYONE with a hispanic last name who files in an open seat is playing a game. Benjamin and Restrepo had a fair race with a fair outcome. Congratulations to the newly elected Judge Benjamin!
ReplyDeleteHe simply outsmarted voters by not adding his picture on his campaign materials leading Hispanic voters to believe he was a white guy.
DeleteCongratulations Woody and Chris!!! REG spreading it's influence far and wide.
ReplyDeleteChris Benjamin is a good man, friend, and he is also my Fraternity brother. He ran a great campaign, serves the community well, and has a long list of accomplishments. God bless him, his wife, and kids - wonderful family. I commend him on his win, and know he will do the citizens of Miami-Dade proud as the honorable judge I know he will be.
ReplyDeleteWoody Clermont
Both Restrepo and Benjamin (and Woody of course) embody all that we look for in a judge. Parasite at 10:49, on the other hand, that’s just a racist asshole.
