SDFLA NEW LAYOUT

UPDATED
The famous and wildly successful lawyer(s) that run the Southern District of Florida Blog which can be found here have changed the look and the layout.

Count us as one vote against the new format.
We don't like it at all.
What say you?
(Apparently we were taken to a mobile version of the blog. So never mind).

But while you're over there, check out the post on the money for the new federal courthouse in Ft. Lauderdale being included in the new federal budget.
We're against that as well.
A real trial lawyer can try a case in an asbestos laden building where the roof leaks.

Our own humble REGJB has been adjudicatin criminal cases since cira 1960 and we are doing just fine. You haven't earned your bones at the REGJB until you and your trial briefcase are thrown for a loop when an escalator suddenly stops and a crush of humanity falls on you.

From occupied America, where no self-respecting local government should take money appropriated by those sell-out morons in D.C., fight the power and try your case with an umbrella.

  1. It's the same layout. For some reason, your link is for the mobile version which looks weird on a computer. Try: sdfla.blogspot.com and it should come up the same way.

  4. Rumpole, for the love of all that is holy, please ban that cheese-head from posting comments about Kenny, Venzer, and Hanzman. We can all see through those posts. Enough is enough. Go try a traffic ticket case will ya?

  5. No need to waste money on a new courthouse in Lauderdale. There is plenty of room that is not used at all. And it is alot less busy than Miami. Most of the time the Judges sit around doing nothing. Zloch "Fast Billy D." are not our top Jurists. They will be sent out to pasture in the upcoming future and will not be missed.

  6. Screw you Don Shula. You have no sense of humor.

  7. Will Sir Kenny being hosting his normal sunday dinner at TGIF Fridays south beach where he holds court and munches on the fried zuchinni and mozzarella sticks while sipping a power chardonnay while people seek his advice on fashion and food?

  8. Judge Hanzman is not retiring. Are you kidding? He is just getting started.

As to Sir Kenneth - that guy rules. No one else in the history of the Justice Building has had more of an impact on us then him. You losers would still be wearing double breasted gold button blazers and Khaki Dockers if he didn’t set the trend with the three button, narrow pants, Euro cut navy blue suit.

Kudos to both Hanzman and Sir Kenneth. You have both saved the lives of many.

  9. Hey RUMPOLE - is your ban of all things NFL over? Can we please do the Survivor Pool again this year?

  10. Another question? Why is Peter Heller not a Judge yet? Nice guy. Smart. Experienced. He would be a nice addition to the County Court. Just run if the appointment process isn’t working.

  11. Pistol Pete Heller is NOT a judge because he has NOT made the trek to the Dennys SoBE for brunch and kissed the ring of sir Kenny and requested his blessing. Until that happens, he twists in the JNC wind.

The NFL should be ended. Google "NFL brain injury".

  13. I went to law school with Rick Freedman. One of the nicest and most intelligent members of my class at UF.

His career has proven that he is successful and has great integrity. He has given so much back to help others through Kiwanis, etc.

I wish he would be appointed as a Circuit Court Judge. He would be terrific.

  14. At Caffe Abbracci on Friday there were some monied politico types discussing politics and the 2020 judicial elections. The talk was of a PAC for the 2020 judicial elections and about Cohen and Tunis. Sounded like they feel Cohen and Tunis are prejudice and unfair to Hispanics.

  15. Incredibly the Beach Commission voted unanimously to rename South of 5th Kennytown. There will be a parade in his honour Friday at 5:00. Starting at the Continuum and concluding at Prime. Taking the long way by The Ren (a drinking and eating establishment). Hanzman, Shula and former Commissioner Greico (aka Dumbshit)are expected to be on hand. Joe's is to be renamed Ken's. What a day.
