SURVIVOR POOL & MORE BROWARD

Some people, including certain well respected judges who will not be named/shamed here, CANNOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS:

So lets try again:

Email your survivor pool picks to Fbpool12@gmail.com.
That's fb pool 12 (all one word).

Broward working on reducing jail population as two defendants commit suicide.

Broward working on deficit reduction as two lawyers only charge 101K for a month's work. Confronted with the bill, one lawyer graciously reduces it $9,000 while commenting that he "lost money working on this case."
Memo to the lawyer: stop talking to the press. Just stop. Stop....sto...st...s.....stop it . Don't open your mouth anymore.  Keep it shut. Please.

  1. THE CAPTAIN REPORTS:

YOUR NEXT FEDERAL JUDGE IS ....

In case you missed it, the Federal JNC interviewed 15 candidates for an open seat on the Federal bench.

    The three finalists are:

    Mary Barzee-Flores
    Peter Lopez
    Barry Seltzer

Now it is up to Senators Nelson & Rubio to recommend one of those three to the President.

    Good luck to the finalists.

  3. This is why Regional Counsel was created - too many greedy lawyers filing ridiculous bills as PCAC lawyers.

  4. THE CAPTAIN REPORTS:

As I previously reported four days ago, major props to ASA Christine E. Zahralban.

Today, Channel 10 covers the story, but only mentions the judges who donated to the fundraising effort.

Let it be known that ASA Zahralban, herself a cancer survivor (there are a dozen articles online about what she went through), stepped up to the plate, started this campaign, and she deserves much credit for helping out this family in a time of need.

Here is the Channel 10 story:

  5. Christine Z is one of the most compassionate people you'll ever meet. I'm not remotely surprised by what she did for the family.
