The trial continues this week and probably next week.
LOYALTY:
"LE-RUN AWAY" opted out of his contract with your Miami Heat. Of course getting lectured on loyalty by Pat Run-away-Riley was not much of an incentive to stay. Sort of like being lectured by a US Senator on the need to put aside partisan politics. Anyway, hope you enjoyed your little run with the Heat. We can look forward to the four night TBS Special where your favourite superstar keeps us all in multi-night suspense until he announces amid balloons and confetti that he's "taking his talents to"
Madison Square Garden, LA, Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, etc. Let's see how many loyal Heat fans a 31-51 season brings to the Arena, excluding Judge Colodny of course, who is the real deal. And how about de Cowboys?

Here's the thing about being a judge. It's kinda boring isn't it? The work (if you're conscientious) never ends. Every day is the same. We like waking up in the morning and wondering what type of problem a client will bring us. We like the financial rewards, and we like doing cross and opening and closing, and all of the strategizing those events require. Reading jury instructions is boring. Calculating guidelines is for the birds. And don't even get us started on civil court. Motions for summary judgment on bond defaults......zzzzzzzzzzz.
The Bench? You can have it. We like being where the action is.
See You In Court.
Rump, why can't you acknowledge that your hatred for Lebron stems from your racist "feeling" that Black NBA players should not be able to chose who they should play for?
ReplyDeleteInstead, you believe that Donald Sterling and his lot should be the people who decide these players fates.
If Lebron goes to NY or LA, I will wish him the best and be satisfied that we had a four-year run with a great human being and player as a representative of our city.
Total bullshit. I would feel the same if Dirk Newitski or Larry Bird or any other non black player pulled this crap. On fact I am as hard on Riley the quitter than I am on Lebaby. So take your racist crap and shove It. That has nothing to do with this.
ReplyDeleteSure Rump, you keep telling yourself that:
ReplyDeleteBill Walton
Team(s): Blazers, Clippers, Celtics
"After battling a number of injuries during his time with the Trail Blazers, Walton requested a trade from Portland, citing incompetency by the Trail Blazers medical staff in treating his injuries."
Where is your criticism of Walton - admit it.
You are not a racist, but racism plays a role in your view on this.
What the hell do you want:
Please suh...Mssr Rieley, Mssr Arinson suhs...I would very much appreciate it if you would consider letting me explore other options...
F that - the guy should be able to play wherever he wants to without having to listen to a bunch of bullshit.
LOL. Rump.........can't believe you took the bait. No way 1023 was serious.
ReplyDeleteBTDT
I'm not sure contentious quite conveys the atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteI didn't take any bait. I let the guy comment and told him it was BS. Of all the snakes in the grass in Miami Pat Riley is the gutless turncoat leader. He's the head back stabber.
ReplyDelete1:14. Did Walton conspire with two other players and game the system? And when Walton did that hadn't he already won a championship ? I fault Lerunaway for stabbing cleveland in the back because he isn't good enough to win on his own.
ReplyDeleteNobody that has had to live in or near Cleveland for any length of time (and isn't a native) faults anyone for leaving as soon as they can.
ReplyDeleteRumpole,
ReplyDeleteNot sure whether you've linked to/commented on the Herald series about the torture death of a mentally-ill inmate at the jail just across the street from the Justice Building, but I think the issue is one that might interest, even galvanize your readers. A couple of organizations have demanded investigations. Shouldn't FACDL or the PD's office weigh in on this? We've all had clients on the psych floor. I'm sure we're all horrified by lethal abuse of Mr. Rainey and the cynicism of the cover-up.
Can you recommend some meaningful action on the issue for criminal defense attorneys.
No one "wins on their own". Jordan had alot of help, Pippin and others
ReplyDeleteWhat is a motion for summary judgment on a bond default?
ReplyDeleteLebron is a free man and you believe that black guys should stay where they are told. On this issue you are not only racsist but a communist as well. Study Napoleon. He would not let the pope crown him emperor, he crowned himself. You go work for that jerkoff Gilbert in Cleveland.
ReplyDeleteRiley is a jerk - yes. But how can you say Lebron is a back stabber - that is crazy talk man.
ReplyDelete4:29
ReplyDeleteThe inmate death occurred at Dade Correctional Institute, located in Florida City, and operated by the Florida Dept. of Corrections. The Pre-trial Detention Center, located behind our beloved justice building, is operated by Miami-Dade Corrections and Rehabilitation Dept. It's 9th floor is certainly an inhumane place at times and people have died there, just not Darren Rainey, the person who's death the Herald reported.
I sense a raw nerve, Rumpy. 10:23 is right. You have a definite bias against LJ which seems to stem from your "slavemaster" mentality about whether players themselves should be able to dictate for themselves where they play. You and Donald should be ashamed of yourselves.
ReplyDeleteSo let's talk soccer. England limps home as one of the worst clubs ever to represent their country. Humiliated by Uruguay and Italy and can't even score a goal against tiny Costa Rica, they once again falter and fail in the first round of the World Cup. I guess the sun set a long time ago on English soccer. What, nothing to say. Oh that's right, you feel the need to bore us with a rant on Mr. James but can't acknowledge your own team's failure. Go take a shower, Rump, you're all wet.
ReplyDeleteM. von Zamft, who recently completed DROP and retired from SAO, is mysteriously back at work for SAO in less than two months. The rule is clear that if you work for any state job within six months of retiring and receiving DROP proceeds, you forfeit all DROP proceeds;furthermore, working in a state job before a year has passed means you would forfeit your pension until a year has passed since your retirement. Word on the street is that VZ is being paid by an out of state corporation which exists for the express purpose of defeating retirement statutes which forbid exactly what VZ is doing. Does anyone view this as a problem?
