The lunch time CLE Seminar "Lunch and Learn" will be held this Thursday in courtroom 4-6 at noon.
A Judge will be presenting the topic. We're not making this up: Incompetency. Make of it what you will.
Incompetency means never having to say "I plead guilty".
COMING UP:
Thursday: The Captain reports on judicial elections.
Friday: "Merciless" and "The Perversion of Justice"
Only on the best legal blog in the country. *
* In our opinion.
I have been advised that Myles Malman has pases away.
ReplyDeleteThe captain should write a story about United Auto buying Rudy Ruiz. United gave over $25,000 to Rudy Ruiz on November 13, 2013 through various companies connected with Estrella Insurance Agency (they sell only United Auto policies, it is a front for United) and attorneys representing United. How to the PIP lawyers expect to compete with that???? I'm surprised the PIP lawyers haven't run an opponent against Ruiz.........YET.
ReplyDeleteSadly, Mr. Malman has passed away. DOM's blog has it. Great great trial lawyer (both as prosecutor and def attorney.) An even greater man.
ReplyDeleteThis is what should be done with incompetency ...........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEEg6TsfbiA
ReplyDeleteIn the race against Ana Pando, United Auto set up a PAC to run ads against her.
ReplyDeleteUnited Auto and Estrella... What a bunch of jerks.
Have you seen now United treats their insured?
@Fake Captain... you are obviously a FAKE & should really do your homework before making such uneducated posts. You conveniently fail to mention that the PIP plaintiff's lawyers gave over $30k to Rudy Ruiz before United Auto or Estrella Insurance. Obviously, Ruiz has the support of both the defense and plaintiff bars; in the PIP world, that's telling of a fair & impartial judge.
