Who should the Governor choose?
Gene Zenobi?
PD Kevin Hellman?
Shari Vrod?
Has it occurred to Joe George the monumental disaster his completely without cause firing of Gene Zenobi has wrought to his career? But then again, since he literally phoned in his interview to the JNC, does Mr. George even care?
All these questions and more, answered shortly, as three hopeful attorneys wing their way to Tallahassee hoping for an appointment.
The Trial Tax in Florida, examined by the NY Times here. But no, we don't punish people for going to trial in our great state. Of course we don't do that- we're too busy shoveling snow from our driveways ten months a year.
See You In Court.
Gene is the most qualified.

RE: Gene Zenobi
ALL STAFF AND RC3 ATTORNEYS ARE AUTHORIZED TO ARREST GENE ZENOBI IF AND WHEN HE TRIES TO ENTER THE PREMISES OF RC3. THIS INCLUDES THE USE OF FORCE. ALL STAFF AND RC3 ATTORNEYS MAY EFFECTUATE "RC3" ARRESTS AND/OR CITIZEN ARRESTS AND SHOULD ALSO CALL 911,
I WILL NOT ALLOW THIS LIQUORED UP SAP TO RUIN ALL I HAVE BUILT.
THIS IS NOT OVER.
WE'RE NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT.
SUPPLIES WILL BE BROUGHT IN AND STAFF WILL BE ORDERED TO HOLD OUT FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. REMEMBER FORT SUMNTER! REMEMBER THE ALAMO! REMEMBER I AM CHARGE!
That is all.
Joseph Potentate George, III
Regional Counsel Plenipotentiary Extraordinaire
So JPG is out! God could not be more gracious! "You rip what you sow" George.
ReplyDeleteThe RC3 plague Will not be completely fumigated until Richard Joyce is also replaced.
See many comments have been made about JPG, but the reality is that JPG is just dumb the megamind behind JPG and RC3 is Richard Joyce.
To enlighten everyone, this
man RJ is sadistic and back stabbing. He wears two masks. One is not very nice and the other is deceiving. This is a man that apparently has everything but this contradicts his actions. Because only a miserable person acts the way he does. It is all very sad because the man does have the potential to do good and influence for the good.
This is RJ...
"the qualities of a great man are vision, integrity, courage, understand and profundity of character."
This is what RJ lacks.
from today's herald:
ReplyDelete"In his interview Saturday, Zenobi discussed how he felt he could re-shape the office.
And he joked that he was offended over claims that the trio had been drinking a cheap Merlot. In reality, he said to a round of chuckles, it was a $79 bottle of Stags Leap Cabernet."
Dear Gene Zenobi: congratulations, you were the best qualified. Please do not fire the people employed by George who helped orchestrate your firing or you will bring disrepute on the office and yourself. Just transfer them to juvenile court.
ReplyDeleteI think the choice should cleary be Kevin Hellman. He is young, a bright lawyer and full of energy and passion. Gene Zenobi is a great guy, but he has had his time in the sun. We need fresh blood.
ReplyDeleteMemo: To Joseph George From: Deputy Chief of Staff Date: September 26, 2011. Subject: Revised interview schedule. Dear Mr. George. The interview date for the office of regional counsel has been changed to September 24, 2011 from October 14, 2011. Please govern yourself accordingly.
ReplyDeleteJudging by Laeser's email on the FACDL listserv and Rumpole's own posting about the Bench & Bar Mixer, it appears the FACDL-Miami is 0-2 with the 12 Tribes right now.
ReplyDeleteThey blew it by not picking the Abed one. If abe was selected everyone is guilty, no depos, no trials a plea at arrignment and the def is off to jail. Think of the savings to the taxpayers. I demand a recount.
ReplyDeletetraveling to tallahasse to gravel for a government job paying a palty 80k. how sad and pithic.
ReplyDeleteHellman has a lot of support in the pd's office.
ReplyDeleteWho cares about RC? Zzzzzzzzzzz
ReplyDelete2:55 P.M. must have had his ass handed to him by Abe. Well, as someone who had the good fortune to have Abe as co-counsel, I saw him behead, in a very nice way, a number of ASAs. Abe is cut from the old cloth of classic lawyer.
ReplyDeleteThe ones cheering the loudest that he was passed over are his former coleagues in the State Attorneys' office who know the bullet they missed.
Hellman would be great.
ReplyDeletePalty? Pithic?
ReplyDeleteBtw- $80k, benefits, retirement, and a fairly influential position in the criminal defense world isn't such a bad deal for the right person.
As evidenced by the numerous APDs who have long tenure with the office, not everyone is out to make a fortune.
Salary is about 95k plus benefits. Richard Joyce is about 80k plus benefits.
ReplyDeleteShiona Creary also needs the boot!!! She influenced Joe George and Richard Joyce. She lies to them about employees just to start conflict in the office. If she doesn't like you, she will make sure Joe George and Richard Joyce doesn't either just to get that person fired. Poor management!!! It's time for a new slate of honesty and concern appreciation for hard working employees. Shiona Creary is also known for hiring her own family members & friends and telling Joe George and Richard Joyce she doesn't know them. What a mess. Karma is real!!! Get rid of the entire management. Eugene Zenobi will turn the place around in a positive manner. I truly believe that!!
ReplyDeletehellman is true blue. not what is needed.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad someone mentioned what their salaries are. Shiona Creary started out as a legal assistant making probably about 30K. After Tanya Watkins passed away (May she rest in peace), Richard Joyce and Joe George thought she would be a perfect replacement. She then became the Chief Administrator Director and now making 75K. She has no experience and is the cause rc3 is always firing people because of lack of money at the end of year. RC3 needs someone more experienced in accounting to help make things right with their budget as well as someone with more management experience. Not just someone trying to learn things along the way. I really hope Engene Zenobi gets the position!!
