BREAKING THURSDAY MORNING 10:AM ish.

THERE IS A CODE BROWN AT THE REGJB

THE BUILDING IS SHUT DOWN.

Code Brown means either Judge Brown is handling a calendar OR

A SERIOUS SECURITY BREACH.

Rumor has it that the security screeners let in a person with a firearm.
The Firearm was in a purse.
Security did however properly stop several people who were wearing belts.

  2. OMG

If they know the person had a gun, why did they not stop the person?

House kills plan for drug monitoring database.
Before the vote to eliminate the database, the committee passed a bill that would prohibit doctors from prescribing [ directly providing?]narcotics, making the drugs largely available only at pharmacies. The bill also would eliminate registration and inspection of pain clinics, and a ban on felons owning pain clinics.

Some pill mill operators already have pharmacies in their clinics, and others could open pharmacies or create partnerships with existing pharmacies.

  5. I don't understand why that was a Code Brown. It should be called a Code Hirsch. Judge Brown is just the chief judge of the 11th circuit of Florida but the Most Right Honourable Milton Hirsch is the Superlative Chiefmost Justice of the United States, therefore, he has the undisputable right to name the codes after his very own name.

  14. also found was as old mirror in former judge gelber's chambers with cocaine residue on it, with a note from x judge davis giving it to Roy as a christmas gift.

  15. oh, my. Court employees hanging out outside waiting in the sun. Judges took refuge in their chambers under the false assumption that they'll be safe. What everyone fails to realize is that if there was a gun smuggled in the courthouse, the crook may have hidden it today and come back for it any day he/she wishes. I'll be watching my back (and front) this whole month.

  16. ... at least the Code Brown was not from a Judge shooting their gun in the Justice Building! Remember Judge Nancy Pollack accidentally fired her .38 in chambers on the 1st floor back in the mid 90's? At least Judges Gelber, Sepe, Davis and Shenberg never shot their weapons in the courthouse....

    - JUDGE ROSA FIGAROLA (POSSIBLY #1 CHOICE)
    - JUDGE VICKIE BRENNAN (GOOD CHOICE)
    - JUDGE LISA WALSH (GREAT CHOICE - SMART/NICE)
    - MIKE HANZMAN (BEST CHOICE - SMARTER THAN
    MR. JUSTICE MILTON H.)

  22. The Spence-Jones trial is the picture of civility. Three sidebars in three weeks. Not a lot of discontent.

I'm sorry that Mr. Scruggs is of frail health and wish him a speedy recovery.

Judge RR and Mr. Raben have been extremely polite with no raised voices.

  23. What happened with the lady and the gun- still don't get it, how could they see a gun and not catch the person?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Well, it seems that there is a small pissing war between the court administrators, police and court security about who was in charge of the public during the code brown.

  25. Leave the gun, take the pasteletos.
