CAPTAIN OUT .....
Maria Espinosa Dennis shall have well funded, well connected opposition.
ReplyDelete1 - nil to the Arsenal
ReplyDeleteWho are the retirees? This is supposed to be a year with a few open seats.
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided who I am going to run against, but I will be running.
ReplyDeleteStephen Juan Shlomo Jacques Jones-Cohen-Sanchez-Jean Baptiste-Huang
Did I miss anyone?
She's the female Adrien. Incompetent and rude as hell.
ReplyDeleteI just appeared before Judge Andrea Wolfson in Hialeah Branch Court. What a pleasure. Put her on the fast track to REG.
ReplyDeleteShe shd. I had a case with her when she was a criminal lawyer. She was clueless but perfectly nice. Once she became a judge she forgot who I was and became generally nasty.
ReplyDeleteWould anyone like to take action on the following names going up to the gov next week.
Judge Walsh 3 to 1
Judge Bloom even money
Judge Gayles 4 to 1
Manny Cassabile 37 to 1
Dawn Denaro even money
Judge White 3 to 1
Mr. Fine 6 to 1
Miguel de la O 9 to 1
Rodney Smith 3 to 1
At least 4 circuit and 1 county retiring, if they stay on bench that long
ReplyDeleteI was in front of the Dragon Lady in criminal court back in the day. What a snotty condensending biiioootchhh! She would not know reasonable doubt if it came up to her and slapped her in the face. Thank God she is no longer in criminal! I would support anyone who ran against her. Hopefully, Espinosa Dennis is going down!
ReplyDeleteManny Alvarez, please run against Robin Faber. You will beat him in a landslide.
ReplyDeleteI have appeared before Judge Maria Espinosa Dennis many times. She has always been extremely attentive, professional, respectful and strictly applies the law.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Joe Davis, soon to be our newest County Court Judge. We are very fortunate to have him on our judiciary.
After careful consideration, I'm hopping on the Newman bandwagon. Who's with me????
ReplyDeleteanyone for term limits on judges? Say two full terms max on any one court? Some of these folks have long since forgotten the reality of the practice of law.
ReplyDeleteagree with 8:11 am.....espinosa dennis is the classic failed lawyer looking for a bigger paycheck, riding on the hyphenated name.
ReplyDeletenot to mention her crazy fax conflict!
No way the Gov turns down a two for one twice in a row. Joe Davis broke the streak, so the civilians are out. Appoint a sitting judge and get the replacement for county as well. Without knowing who can return favors in November for Crist, I'd say:
ReplyDeleteJudge White-Labora 3 to 1- Practically a circuit judge as it is and she volunteered for Drug Court. Let her have it.
Judge Gayles 4 to 1- Totally deserves it, but keeps gettin passed over time and time again. cant figure out why.
Judge Bloom 8 to 1- After all these years? Waited too long.
Judge Walsh 30 to 1- What? You've been a county judge for about 15 minutes. Isn't getting appointed once good enough for now? Applying too early makes it look like you are ungrateful.
Rodney Smith 35 to 1- Huh? You've been a judge for about 36 minutes in Hialeah Branch Court. Get a jury trial under your belt first.
Manny Cassabile 37 to 1. Too qualified. We cant have that in Miami.
Mr. Fine 42 to 1. Dont know.
Miguel de la O 50 to 1. No one cares that Kreeger screwed you over. That was so April 2010.
Dawn Denaro. Another career prosecutor like Flora Seff who may not be able to defend her seat to either a male or female hispanic opponent. Trend will soon be that you should have at least done something other than SAO work for your whole career.
1:46pm as a former attorney in her courtroom I can tell you she was mean, nasty, and dispicable. When she was in criminal she would rip you a new one, embarass you infront of your collegues and just be plain nasty at times. So maybe you are a highly respected or high price attorney and we were just in training pants but we deserved respect also. Today many of us former PD and ASA are also highly paid and highly respected and we remember how we were treated by the judges. Back then to her we may have been nobodys today we have influence and power. Regardless of anything we deserved to be treated with curtesy and respect; a thing she only has for those who she feels can serve her purpose. So maybe you were lucky, or maybe you are her simply writing as anonymous to defend yourself either way if she gets opposition it is well deserved. You think that people have these negative opinions of her simply because they are picking on her or they are jealous. Get real and stop kissing her skinny boney butt.
ReplyDeleteif you have any questions about espinos dennis, just send her a FAX ask david miller
ReplyDeleteI'm new to this thing so sorry if I come off as stupid. Can you please tell me if we can really get rid of Sheldon Shwartz? Is he on the bench forever now?
ReplyDeleteDawn will make a fine judge and will not be opposed as she has a better last name then a Seff. Seff is also nasty and Dawn sweet.
ReplyDeleteBloom
Smith
Fine
Denaro
Walsh
White- Labora
Pick six at 22 to 1 minimum bet 100 dollars
Two county judges are retiring.
ReplyDeleteMaria Espinosa Dennis is certain to have opposition. What's very ironic is who is funding the opposition. I guess even her supporters have had enough of her cuckoo antics.
ReplyDeleteHow could Crist select Joe Fernandez over Gayles and
ReplyDeleteBloom (she might not have been on the list then)?
what a sorry ass bunch of folks on this list
ReplyDeleteBecause Crist is a political whore and perhaps wanted someone as competent as a judge as he is as governor in the slot.
ReplyDelete745 pm - exactly - even the CABAL has had it. Espinosa Dennis drew a big target on her back.
ReplyDeleteCrist sent a militant black woman to replace Rivero on the JNC. Who says he is not a good politician. Remember kids, political appointments are made for political reasons.
ReplyDeleteJNC TOUT SHEET
ReplyDeleteLOCKS (book non-refundable tickets to Tallahassee)
Walsh
Gayles
White-Labora
SEMI-LOCK (book a refundable ticket)
Bloom
ON THE BUBBLE (2 of you should book tickets)
De la O
Galt
Fine
NOT THIS TIME
Lindsey
Denaro
WHY ARE YOU APPLYING?
Kuntz - voters have spoken bud
Hersh - dui lawyers belong in Kounty Kourt
Sackrin - Keep applying in Broward (how come this guy gets to apply to both JNCs?)
Smith - just be happy no one ran against you.
Casabielle - Really? Manny, I know your practice is slow, but really...the bench? Com'n, you're a barely competent criminal lawyer.
Bloom is a good pick. She's earned it....Gayles is a good pick too, but hasn't even been handling cases involving jail.
ReplyDeleteI'VE PERSONALLY PRACTICED IN DADE COUNTY FOR OVER 25 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN BEFORE JUDGE DENNIS ON NUMEROUS CASES IN ALL JURISDICTIONS AND HAVE FOUND HER TO BE PROFESSIONAL, PATIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND POLITE. THE PROBLEM WITH OUR PROFESSION IS SIMPLE: ADVERSE RULINGS BRING OUT THE WORST IN PEOPLE. I'VE LOST CASES, BUT AS LONG AS A JUDGE RESPECTS YOU IN THE END, THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. I WILL VOTE FOR JUDGE DENNIS WITH OUT HESITATION AND SO WILL MY COLLEAGUES.
ReplyDeleteDennis is getting opposition.
ReplyDeleteShe may win, but she has a long, hard expensive road in front of her.
She is disrespectful, has no judicial demeanor and is just not smart.
Oh - and I won huge before her. But the way she treated witnesses and opposing counsel was not appropriate.
The problem wiht our profession is we we have big mouths who think IF YOU TALK LOUD AND LAST you win .
Vote for whomever you wish, and cut your check to her. But Espinosa Dennis will have well financed, well supoprted opposition that will run a well organized campaign.
Buckle up.
Yo, straight up truth (I think): Bobby "THE MAN" Reiff aka "THE DRUNK DRIVING MONSTER KING" is running for Judge. I have reason to believe.
ReplyDeleteOn an unrelated note: when will someone open up some good s$&t in and around the Justice Building? That place and everything surrounding it is a f*$*%ng hell hole! The streets are littered with bums and convicts. We're surrounded by the SAO, jail and a f$*%ing hospital...I mean, christ! Anyhing good to eat in the area? HOT DOGS! GOD DAMNED HOT DOG VENDORS @ EVERY STREET CORNER! I mean...seriously?! And I want to know who in the hell is eating those things?! They probably wreck havoc all over your insides and make you s$&t blood for WEEKS! I bet if it sits in your stomach long enough, it'll come to life and burst out of your CHEST...ALIEN STYLE! Like, damn!
Is anyone else afraid of sitting on the toilets in the Justice Building?
i agree about the food situation at criminal, lousy. best bet is to eat at the sylvester cancer hospital of u/m. food is pretty good for hospital food, not too expensive. if you're looking for quality then you're gonna have to brown bag it orput in for a transfer to downtown.
ReplyDeleteas a former attorney in her courtroom I can tell you she was patient and very pleasent to deal with, i was a nweby fresh out of law school, after court she would stay in the courtroom and critique us and give us pointers. Very approachable judge and i would vote for her in the future
ReplyDelete10:28:00-- you need to use the toilets at the state attorneys office---
ReplyDeletemaria espinosa dennis is neither intelligent nor competent. she is disrespectful to counsel, and inappropriate to witnesses and parties. I would not vote for her to walk my dog!!!
ReplyDeleteMaria Espinosa Dennis is the most inappropriate judge I have ever encountered. She is rude, unreasonable and extremely biased. It does not matter what evidence and information that you bring to court; her mind is pretty much made up from the get go. What a horrible person to have making life changing decisions for families and their children!!!
